Majority of this drive was downtown to the OSU campus, and back. Then back again for more exit traffic lol. April upload; likely it’s the 2024 spring game that is over. That’s 80,000 mostly buzzed fans going every which way 😂🥳😶🌫️

Ohio is AMAZING! I live around Cbus and it's outstanding. The driver did not show much more than downtown. Wish they drove through German Village/Brewery District. Also Easton Town Center, Polaris area and all of our suburbs. Hilliard, Grove City, Westerville, Worthington, Dublin, UA, Gahanna, New Albany, Grandview, Powell are the suburbs worth checking out and they all have unique downtown style character. Then the sports! Columbus Crew, Bluejackets, Clippers and of course Ohio State University. That's just Cbus, then you have Cincinnati and Cleveland. And the small charming towns throughout the state, state parks and federal park Hocking Hills.

Come on the video is just about Columbus not about the entire metro and then you want him to drive through two other cities hours away and put it all on KZbin? Who’s sitting around watching that entire video?

Columbus has the most impatient drivers. They have been voted third most impatient drivers in America. And an impatient driver is a dangerous driver. “Tail Gate city”. Everywhere you drive you will be tail gated. Get ready to disregard the speed limit or you will be passed in the most dangerous situations. Generally, speed over curtsy. A speed limit is a “limit” not a mandatory speed. Twenty five miles an hour is the worst speed limit. There is a good chance you will be passed no matter how dangerous the situation.

I had no idea about that. That explains so much. I've always had to wait for cars even when the light was green

I moved to Columbus from rural KY and lived there for 4 years while my wife went through optometry school at OSU. I figured I would need to adjust my driving to get used to the "big" city, but it was honestly like having to learn how to drive all over again. If you have to get over a lane, you have to cut someone off because if they see your turn-signal, they will literally speed up to block you. This also means that if you're not tailgating the car in front of you, you will be cut off, usually by some impatient dbag weaving through traffic to save a few seconds, which is why people speed up to prevent you getting over to begin with, they basically view it like cutting in line. Also, given the fact that everyone is tailgating one another, this means that you have to be ready to stop on a dime. I went from never being in a car accident in the 4 years before I moved to 2 accidents in the 4 years I was in Columbus, with a few close calls I was able to avoid by swerving off the road. One interesting thing I did notice is that people were a lot more nice about letting me over when I still had my Kentucky plate. As soon as I switched to the Ohio plate and they saw Franklin County, I think they just assumed I was just another dbag trying to cut line rather than an out of towner. I remember we had to get the pates changed as soon as we moved for her school, so she could get in state pricing or something like that. If they were to change the rules so you could keep your out of state plate for when you're done with school, I think it would definitely help out a bit.

Watching the video with CC on I'm not sure where they are getting "diverse neighborhoods, cultural landmarks and bustling downtown"? Its cookie cutter apartment complexes with massive parking lots for Wal-marts and Kroger's, there literally no landmarks in the city that is memorable.

The whole culture of driving is very Ohio. Standard Oil of Ohio and the freeway system as well as the shopping mall, the fast food restaurant and competition between businesses that are car friendly has made , Ohio a source of invention including gas stations, the internet, the airport are all intrinsic to Ohio. Ohio is the capital of Western driving culture.

Driving is mildly annoying, parking is submitting to extortion.
