I lived in Ruchazie for 9yrs between 1962 and 1971. Nothing exists anymore. My house in Boghall St. Ruchazie primary school ,the church my sister got married in The houses my friends lived in, the swing park , even the green spaces where I played football have been built on. Its all gone.

Went round parts of high end Ruchazie I had never been before. I visited a few years ago the buildings all changed. Was only able to navigate the streets, because the road layouts were the same.

My grandparents used to stay in Glenraith rd in craigend, used to stay with them in the summer, watched the gang fights on the pitches from the veranda ….

To me it has changed in over 40 years. My old house in Cobington Place. They build new houses there. I lived in no. 53 and you'll be lucky if there as many houses there now. My old primary school is away and the Catholic school.
