The serenity and calmness of the gently lapping blue blue blue Med Sea in Latchi Harbour is to die for imo. It cleared my head of any worries or stress and is well worth a visit.

Thank you Mr Paul. Loved the videos today showing one of my favourite drives across to Latchi. Been going there for 30 years and watched it expand from a tiny harbour to a beautiful Marina. Used to go from there to Polis and along to Argaka and to St Raphael. ❤️❤️

Loved this video Mr Paul and have to agree with you that Argaka is probably one of the most beautiful areas of coastal paphos. We stayed in a villa there last year and had our best holiday in cyprus ever. Pity the video stopped short of the centre where we had some lovely meals out and spent time on beaches that we had almost to ourselves. The onward drive to Pomos was stunning. We were really torn whether to return to the area again this year but as we like to try different places when we come back to the island we're off up into the hills to Peristerona this year but Argaka is definitely on our return list for the future. Hopefully we may bump into yourself and Marika on a trip down to the harbour in Paphos whilst we're out there. Keep the videos coming. The Ford's

What a great drive!😊 Mr. Paul, I'am staying in Paphos with my family a few days. Would it be too much to hope that you might have some free time for us to meet?😎

We went to Polis at Christmas and it really was a lovely day. I am going to watch your next episode because we haven't been past Argaka on this part of the island. My husband and his family are from the occupied side, and we yearn for the day Cyprus is unified. We have family across the island. Some in Paphos, Nicosia, Larnaca, Limassol and even some in the occupied areas. We have friends on the other side too! Thanks for sharing this road trip. One for us to do next time!

Well.. Miss Dizzeeblondee it is a lovely area, and your husband's story is a familiar one, politics and religion.. the cause of most of the problems of the world.. anyway one day Cyprus will be united and the troubles of the past will be layed to rest, and hopefully that day will come soon.. ❤️🙏😎

Looks stunning up there looks a nice place to visit. Might have to steal a car and have a drive up there . I believe there's a black Mercedes that parks on double yellow lines across from a school 🏫 do you think he will be upset if I steal his car for the day 😂😂❤

Well.. Mr Nigel I don't think that he would mind you stealing his black Mercedes.. but Captain Stavros his gumbaroo can be rather violent.. 🤣😁😎

We've hired a self drive boat for the day from Latchi watersports, when we visit Paphos in July, hope the sea isn't too chopsy mopsy 🤢🤢. How long would you say is the drive from Imperial beach Hotel to Latchi? Thanks for another informative video Mr Paul.
@marikandmepaphos Жыл бұрын
Well.. Mr Paul I would go along the Tombs of the kings avenue and head for Peyia and then go over the top to Kathikas and drop down on the Latchi side of Polis town, and I would say a nice relaxing drive of say an hour, taking in the sights and sounds along the way, say hello to Mr Tom the Boss of Latchi water sports.. 🙏😁😎

We drove all the way along that road once and carried on through Pachyammos, carried on up to Alevga, up through the Troodos mountains and back down to Paphos, that was a few years ago and was quite a drive but we loved it and maybe one day we will do it again 😉👍😎

do you often see military jets etc in the skies round Cyprus, (am i right in thinking there are British and French bases?) i assume they wouldn't take kindly to being filmed!
@marikandmepaphos Жыл бұрын
Well.. Cuz King James we don't really see that many jet's, except when the Israeli's come over for war games.. and yes there are three British base's, but no French ones.. 🤣😁😎
@petertysoe3832 Жыл бұрын
The jets from RAF Akrotiri usually take off towards the sea, rather than inland, so you won't see them very much - apart from maybe when the Red Arrows come over (usually in April/May) when you might see them practicing. (The other two bases are army, not air force.) The British helicopters also often help with fighting fires in the summer.
@marikandmepaphos Жыл бұрын
Yes Mr Peter they launch out to see, and a pritty active base I believe, I have been to akrotiri a few times, there are even Americans there, but don't tell anybody.. 🤣😁😎
