Always the best drumming ever. If Mr. Harrison never did these videos I would never understand the little embelishments he does in every song.

A long time ago was talking with a friend who's a Portnoy fan, and I'm a Peart fan, about a stupid Twitter poll about who was the better drummer. He thought Portnoy was a bit better technically, but would give the edge to Peart for songwriting. I think Gavin is the best of both worlds.
@larrytate1657
@larrytate1657 Жыл бұрын
@@Terry_Sieving agreed these are the best, but after seeing more of what Sucherman can do I believe he’s the best. Musical drumming, speed, solos, metal, Latin, jazz he does it all at the highest level. He shows about 20 percent of what he’s capable of with Styx.

@@larrytate1657Finally found someone I can agree with. Todd Sucherman is on Top for me. His story about when he first started, writing Steve Smith that letter and Steve responding is just great. Give a little guy inspiration and look where he is now

And that my friends is what you call “Finesse”… delicate balance of precision and feel. Awesome Mic work to be able to capture each nuance, including the finger ghost notes hehe. Thanks Gavin, didn’t have the opportunity to see you with Pineapple here in Florida last year, but had the opportunity to travel to Chicago back in September for the Porcupine Tree show. Keep on rocking dude.
