Tom, get a traffic lawyer and keep the points off your license and your insurance lower. They'll plead it down to a non moving violation. It's a minimal fee and well worth it. People are crazy to just pay a ticket.

Or the poor man’s way is to take it to court, postpone the court date at the last possible moment twice, some places you can postpone up until a few hours before your hearing, cops get mad when they show up to court just to be told it was postponed,then hope the cop can’t show up or is tired of showing up to be told it’s been postponed and doesn’t make it to the 3rd trial date, if the cop doesn’t show the judge will have to dismiss.

71 in a 45. Most places around here on the east coast, thats the "super speeder" ticket. You get the speeding ticket, and then you get a surprise mega huge ticket in the mail. TN was talking about a $500 super speeder bonus fine on top of the other one if you were doing 25 over. Dunno if that ever passed.

Pro tip…blur your speed on your speedo on the dash there. Cops can use this footage as evidence. You wouldn’t think it would ever happen, but look up kevin von Voris. He went to jail over some spirited driving that he posted like 3 years ago, just because some police department stumbled across his footage and used road signs to prove where he was. Just a word of caution man.

that’s not true. A KZbinr actually got arrested for this exact thing, cops raided his house over it. Because he showed a video of himself driving very fast on a street, and in the video it showed his speed as well as street signs so they could verify a particular place it happened. It was Kevin Van Voris, search him, he has a video about it all.
