Thank you from the UK, I bought one brand new in December 1973, in blue, with a blue velour interior.

Nice video. Is it a Dyane or an Acadyane?

Thanks for the video! I love the way you drive and shift. I can tell you know the car very well. Can I ask what kind of fuel economy you get by driving as you do in the video? Enjoy the car :)
@Rob-rg4oe6 жыл бұрын
TheFlyingSaucePan It depends on the conditions. On average I get about 17km out of 1 liter of RON98 fuel. When driving city only it drops to 15 to 1. When it's mostly long hauls on the highway it tops at 21 to 1.

Is your Dyane stock with 32 PS?
@Rob-rg4oe6 ай бұрын
Yes, completly stock. Although some effort was put into having the right valve clearance and carburator tuning. Only thing not standard on the car is the electronic ignition. I've replaced the original points-system with an electronic version (but that does nothing for the power), It's running on RON98 (98 octane equivalent) fuel.

@@Rob-rg4oe Thanks for your info. How does your Dyane feel in 4th gear? Can you cruise along in 4th in slight uphill?
@Rob-rg4oe6 ай бұрын
@@Messergebnis-liebhaber Going uphill in 4th isn't a problem at full-throtle. When the gradiant gets to high, like on the german highways close to the Alps, I have to switch back to 3th sometimes. But driving around in the Ardennes, it's almost never needed. Speed decreases to about 85 km/h on steep highway angles, so im usually forced to stay in the slow-lanes behind a truck, because of that. But in general, going up bridges or slight inclines, does not pose a problem in 4th.

@@Rob-rg4oe Thanks for the great info! As you know, Dyane 6 gear ratios are 1.35 for 4th gear & 3.875 for final drive which means 1.35*3.875 = 5.23 overall ratio in 4th. Considering the tires (135/80/15), it delivers 21.1 km/h per 1000 RPM which means to cruise along at 100 km/h the engine has to turn at 4740 RPM. Have you ever cruised with your Dyane at such speeds or higher on the Autobahn for long periods of time? How does it feel? It is great that you said the 4th gear is flexible enough to maintain speed even in uphill roads. I'm really beginning to like Dyane more & more!

4:34 Ik vroeg mij af of je daar plankgas voor moet geven. Of zit er nog aardig wat pit in dat kleine motortje?
@Rob-rg4oe5 жыл бұрын
@blackguitar4535 жыл бұрын
Rob de Lange Dat wist ik nog niet. Weer wat geleerd.

@@Rob-rg4oe Helemaal correct. Men voelt de tweed trap in het pedal. Dat is het geheim.
