Don't ever turn the air conditioning on while the car is moving. It puts a lot of stress on the compressor as it tries to catch up to the engine. Check engine is probably on because it sounds like there's a hole in the exhaust. Been on for 13 years??????????? It's funny how many people ignore this light for so long.
@musicrevelation20234 жыл бұрын
No that's how they all sound lol. The light can come on most commonly as a fault code and when cleared will ussally go away or come back. A check engine light doesn't mean what you think it does. Unless there something mechanically unsound and doesn't drive right then there is nothing wrong. It's common for these computers to put out false codes to meet emmisions and to trick scan tools also. If it runs a drives good then it's good. Could easily just check the plugs to see how they look to determine the condition of the engines running environment. If you think a check engine light is a chase of panic then you don't know much about cars and how the ecu and pcm will make errors and no matter what happens there is stored codes to keep the engine running perfectly normal without certain parts of the ecu, bcm, and pcm
@musicrevelation20234 жыл бұрын
And a hole in the exhaust won't do anything. Unless you one of those who thinks back pressure is a thing which is funny. The less back pressure the better for an engine which is why cats Rob a lot of free flowing performance. In no way possible will a hole in the exhaust cause any issues. The only what is if the primary O2 sensor is reading that there is to much fuel or air coming through which btw the primary is in the manifold. The secondarys do nothing but tell of the car but will chase a check engine light but won't change anything since the primary does all the calculations for running conditions to meet emmisions standards. Any holes after both up stream and down stream O2s will not cause any check engine lights. Even one before the down stream won't cause one unless it's not connected anymore. And the secounary is on the secound cat itself. I hate people who think back pressure is a thing, not that it's related to this manner in any means but it doesn't explain why every car back then never hand anything but a manifold and a muffler if that lol and v8s got better gas mileage because if carbs and they weren't restrictive than v8s from the 90s+. Anyways that's off topic have a good one

Funny, nobody calls it lugging when the automatic transmission does it but you do it in a manual and everybody calls it lugging. 5th gear at 30-35mph is certainly doable if the load is low enough, most automatics will shift that high, you're just not aware of it.

On the 6spd V6 Camry it hits 4th gear at only 20mph with light throttle. Nothing wrong with 'lugging it' so long as you don't feel or hear horrible noises, usually pinging.

Hi there, that’s a nice car for a 99 Toyota Camry manual transmission. The car looks like it’s in a brand new condition for a 20 year old car. I also like the color of that car as well. I think it’s green; is it? Because that’s one of my favorite colors on a car. I’m a big fan of manual transmissions. My dad owned a 5 speed manual on a 1992 Toyota Camry for about 15 years. And then later, he got a 2008 BMW 5 series ten years ago certified pre-owned at 20K miles. And so far as of now I’m driving the 2008 5 Series beemer. It’s a nice car and it drives well for a 6- speed manual. You can’t go wrong in driving that car. The 2008 5 series beemer is the only manual transmission car I’ve ever driven over the last few years. I’ve never driven any other manuals before. I think your 1999 Toyota Camry 5 speed manual also looks fun to drive when I watched the video. The 2008 bmw 5 series has had a few minor safety recalls from the dealership during the beginning years of driving it but it’s already been performed, fixed, and perfect to be on the road for many years to come. I don’t know if your 99 Toyota Camry has had any safety recalls. I hope not though because it’s a great car. Sometimes I think I wish I had that car because it looks awesome and drives nice for a manual transmission. Kudos Bro on your car!😀
