Hey Man, you should look into a AR5 transmission. They’re a few ppl running one behind a 2J, it’s the transmission from the Solstice/Colorado. They’re cheap and hold decent power, they’re also a common pairing with LS platforms also. Could pick one up for $5-$700

I used to get 18mpg on e85 with my 1.5jz with bc272 r154 with a 4.08 in 5th I was at about 3100 at 8 so u should be getting more mpg. Need to lean it out. I leaned mine out to about 15-16 afr on the freeway

Yeah I'm thinking he might need to change the gearing in the rear. If I recall correctly, the NA's have shorter gears which makes for better acceleration but will cost mph/rpms up top.

4:37 I've never heard anyone say they don't like the cd009. That's very interesting. I loved mine in the 350z I had. Want to try a t56 one day. Only other 6sp I've used is a bmw 420g. I had the 135i/335i 6sp for one of my builds but I sold my setup.

Top 5 driving pet peeves: 1. Slow drivers in the fast lane 2. Obliviously driving with high beams on(especially because too lazy/too dumb to change a bulb). 3. Stopping and backing up on the highway because you missed your exit. 4. Unnecessarily reckless, selfish, and inconsiderate driving. 5. Anything Altima and Accord drivers are doing. P.S. in 2005'ish when I first started doing swaps 2J's were $1400 delivered and RB's were $5k+ which was astronomical at the time. Now look. 🤦🏾‍♂️lol

Speedo doesn’t read correct in my booster rsx. I have the wrong VSS so I can only have a waste gate tune. I can’t wait to get the correct VSS and get back to boost by gear.

Ive been watching since before you bought the Z, and what you're doing is actually my dream. Did you say your 2J is a VVTI motor? I only ask because I thought the vvti motors couldn't handle power as well. I'm still very new and learning, but I would gove anything to do what you're doing. I'm trapped in the warehouses for the money unfortunately.

7:06 ud hate massachusetts. People will go from the middle and far right(s) to purposefully cut you off while passing in the passing lane. They also never move when they're cruising.
