Back in 1970 as a child, driving on the beach was free,we went camping at Tomoka State Park,it was $2.50 a night which was really the going rate at all state parks then.Plenry of Hippies flashing us the peace sign back then.

Enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt! Been going to Daytona Beach for about 50 years now. Wish they would bring back rides at the boardwalk. Space needle, Skylift, ferris wheel, go-karts and you could ride from one end to the beach to the other 24/7 with no tolls.

Once you get to Daytona beach, there are plenty of entrances to access the beach via your vehicle. Want to ensure 4 wheel drive.

We accessed beach at Granada and A1A then headed south from there. Which was technically Ormond beach then goes into Daytona Beach.
