Great guys, so glad you’re doing this trip and hope you find as many more interesting things as you found on this video. I live in Kingman, AZ which calls itself “The Heart of Route 66”, not sure if it is, but Route 66 is certainly a major part of the town’s attraction. Hope you are able to drive the whole length someday and if you do manage to stop in Kingman look me up.

What a quirky interesting ride. Loved the stops you made. I deffo think you should make an ad hoc trip staying as cheaply as you can, great idea. Great vlog, thanks.😉😉

Nicole and I looked at each other and said "Have they ever BEEN to the Epic McDonald's?" And then we saw that the train cars provided seating at that McDonald's and then said. "Oh yeah. . . That's pretty darn cool." And your talk of a spontaneous trip, staying somewhere cheaply and eating cheaply is a great idea! This was a great video.

Why do Europeans and Brits always want to drive on Rt 66???its no big deal
@evanhughes151011 ай бұрын
@@WarmwaterEddiebecause the desert landscape is evocative of movies they’ve seen, and and it has a lot of roadside oddities and Americana and things reminiscent of historical travel days. Route 66 was the main route between Chicago and Santa Monica before the interstates took over, so there’s a lot of relics and remnants of structures and places once thriving with business and road travelers pre- 1960s

we have nothing like it in the UK or even europe for that matter. the 360° scenic views down a seemingly endless stretch of road fading into the horizon with family and/or friends to be able to experience the moment, the countless sites to stop at to experience a different story and the history of the route. idk, i've always wanted to do it, like a once in a lifetime kinda thing so it's quite high up on my bucket list.

Route 66 was important before the interstate system was built after the 1950's .. After the interstate these businesses died everyone used the interstate .. Now it's just tourist that drive it
