For anyone out there worried about perceived speeding, the diving footage in this video was sped up with the audio synced to match. We speed up and slow down clips in just about every video for different purposes. In this case, we sped our driving footage to shorten the total run time. We try to keep our videos as close to 8 minutes as possible. Thanks....

I see your one week of winter has come to an end and now it is Spring lol. Those mid 60s degree temperatures you now are getting will have the Daffodils popping in February. We always enjoy leaving Winter in Michigan late February and driving to Gatlinburg for 10 days, with flowers, Robbin’s and trees starting to bloom it always feels like early May to us 😎

I read through these comments and it is astounding how many scholars on everything from driving skills to audio engineering seem to be watching this channel. With that said, I hope you don’t stop making them, just because some people have nothing better to do than complain about the way you do it. It seems some folks have more time than sense. Please don’t let a few bad apples ruin our chance of seeing those hills, because for some of us, it’s as close as we’re going to get. Greatly appreciate this comment. We spend a great deal of time and effort trying to produce the best content. We love to create, especially when it comes to the beautiful snowfall here in the mountains. The footage in this video was on the figurative cutting room floor and was just pieced together because we thought it was too pretty to not be shared. The audio here was never meant to be heard. Maybe I should have just put some music over it. Maybe I should have kept the driving scenes at the regular speed and had a longer video. You can't make everyone happy, however. I was born in Tennessee and hopped over the mountain to raise my kids in Western NC right up against the the Smokey Mountain National Park. Due to circumstances beyond my control with my family I had to move to Florida. It’s okay here, but it’s flat land and I don’t think I will ever be truly happy until I get back to the mountains. I’m older now and I may not be able to, so seeing these videos is as close as I can get for now and I want you to know, I can’t express to you of my gratitude 🙏🏻 for your efforts. Loved that, so beautiful. We were there in 2016 during the summer. I live in Ohio. We are used to it but it still gets scary at times especially driving in it but it still is beautiful.

Normally folks don’t watch past the 8 minute mark so we try to keep the content around that mark. One of their cabins sustained some roof damage during the storms that caused the flooding but besides that they are going strong!

The roads were cleared within the hour. These are clips that didn't make the cut in our original videos. As such he dialogue was never meant to be heard by the viewer. I would happily issue you a refund for this free content you viewed... smh.
