Ryan, always keep a pair of gloves in your coat pockets. That way, you will always have them when you need them. The walk to Cataract Falls was beautiful and peaceful. It was great seeing all the snow, another beautiful creation by our loving God. You are truly blessed. I aways love the view looking out from your house. The deer were having fun in the snow too. I am enjoying the scenery with the snow. Here's a funny story. That round hotel on the mountain, I think is called Park Vista, or at least it used to be. back in 1988 my wife and I stayed there. Well we were down on Airport Road waiting for a trolley to take us back up to the hotel. We missed the last trolley going up, so we had to walk that entire driveway up the steep incline to the hotel. LOL. Needless to say we never stayed there again. LOL. It was nice though with an indoor pool.

When we home-schooled our kids they would always complain that their public school friends would get a snow day while they had to do their studies. I would remind them that I would be happy to give them a snow day instead of Disney World in October. There were no more complaints. We graduated our last one 2 years ago. Now they are home-schooling our grandkids.

Exactly, Sevier County closed down schools for the week, but Brie will still be doing school with the kids tomorrow. We will at WDW next month while a lot of kids are in school with low crowds. We love the flexibility!

Many positives with Home-schooling besides the flexibility. Mainly being able to approach subjects from a Biblical worldview. We home-schooled all six of our kids from the beginning to graduation. They all went on to college and /or great careers.

Beautiful scenery. My wife and I have made that trail walk many times. It's such a nice place when it isn't crowded. Have you checked out Davey Crockett birthplace Park yet? Really nice trails along the river. Based on something at the beginning of this video, i think you are about 45-50 minutes south of me. I never realized that before. I'm going to search through your older videos to see what you're using for your solar set up. We've been in and out with power since Monday night. 8" at our place and there's only been a little melt off so far.
