There are many effects to legalize marijuana. One is driving while being stoned. How do laws play into effect? The effects of driving while drunk are not the same as driving while stoned. Dr. Godfrey Pearlson leads a team of researchers at Hartford Hospital’s Olin Neuropsychiatry Research Center at the Institute of Living-actively researching marijuana and driving. With so many states moving toward legalizing marijuana- there are a lot of questions and possible implications on our society. This is part of federally funded testing to see what happens to people when they smoke marijuana and drive. The researchers are trying to develop a reliable roadside test police can use to determine if someone is driving while under the influence of marijuana. I have been in the exact situation you describe. I was riding my motorbike > lady hits me by not giving me way > Cops find her at fault for not giving way > I got to the hospital cause I sustained a broken arm > they do a blood test on me (I had no problem because the last time I smoked was 3 days ago) > they find the very minimum trace amounts of marijuana in my system.

Does he mean 0.1 per thousand BAC makes it 10x more likely to crash or 1.0 BAC ? Because in Germany it’s perfectly legal to go up to 0.5 no worries. Only if you crash or drive weird thats an offense.
