I had the same with an examiner I had twice who failed me twice, literally staring at me when I did something wrong which isn't good because you start to question yourself and what you're doing wrong and end up fucking up even more so no they shouldn't stare at you tbh.

Agree, he moved off fairly quickly. He had stopped in a position which would give himself a severe angle to move off at the re-start which he could have easily avoided if he stopped a bit sooner and just left of centre.

basicsurfer08 I have been failed three times first time I was nervous and clipped the kerb on my manover so I accept that last twice I've been failed on minors like and indicator clicking off as I enter round about even though I put it back on they still failed me for it. Last time I got cut off on a round about and got a fail because I didn't check my mirror before I breaked

I failed my test because a lorry was on the wrong lane on a roundabout and when he realised he was supposed to be on the middle lane and not on the left hand lane he nearly hit me as he forced his way into the middle lane I was on the middle lane beside him, my driver forced me to go on the right hand lane even though you're not supposed to switch lanes on a roundabout so how was it my fault the lorry driver didn't know what lane to go into? I received a major cos some plonker didn't know what lane to go in. Just goes to show how much b.s driving tests are.

I failed because some idiot accelerated in order to overtake me when I entered the roundabout. I moved off, and i he had kept his speed nothing would've happened, but he decided to speed up, overtake and cut me off forcing me to brake. Apparently I didn't anticipate but I have already committed so what can I do if some prick doesn't want to be 'stuck' behind a learner. This is why I think learners are worse off because for some reason when most see an L plate they decide to be utter pricks driving dangerously and tail-gating, forgetting what it was like when they were learning. Its unfair, but to cheer you up, the moment you pass you will forget the anger fro when you failed. The first thing I asked my mum not to do after passing is getting me P plates (which she did anyway) since I dreaded the idea of being labeled again, especially after nearly 3 years of driving as a learner.

He should have waited for a safe gap but he joined when there was a lorry behind, causing that lorry to slow down which is usually a serious in a test

This is taken from a training DVD. You see the whole test video first. These are just clips from that video showing where there were faults. The driver's narration is a voice over to explain his thought process to the viewer. He wasn't speaking during the test.

I dont see Fault 4 itself make sense. If you wait and go they gonna say you didnt pull off when its safe so. Attempting driving for first time test is just you need to pay for mock test, its not really a test :-(

I’m just so glad I passed my test before they changed it all last year, the stuff you have to do now is ridiculous, like pulling up on the wrong side of the road which in the Highway Code tells you not to do. I get they need to see you being safe but sometimes they fail you for ridiculous reasons and it’s all to do with quotas anyway.

Tbh the test is a lot easier, like driving into a parking bay? Pulling up on the right and reversing back two car lengths and driving off its nothing compared to reversing round a corner and 3point turn fuck that shit 😂

Irritating how someone can get 7 minors and pass, but me on the other hand, has got 3 minors on one test and 4 minors on 2 other tests and still haven't managed to pass because of one mistake each time that turned into a major. One major fault wasn't unsafe at all and another one wasn't really that unsafe either! Infuriating.

I failed twice and passed my third 1st one I came to some dodgy junction and hesitated and the examiner failed me. 2nd time I was failed for doing 20mph in a 30 (I thought it was 20 lol) both two with the same examiner then the 3rd time I had a different one and he passed me I still racked up 9 minors but who gives a shit 😂
