Thank you! Your video was/is so helpful. I haven't been to Branson in eleven years and it's nice to see where everything is located instead of just looking at a map. I'll be visiting next week.

You're welcome! Glad it was helpful. Branson has changed a lot in eleven years. I hope you have a great trip. Thanks for watching and commenting!

I'm pretty sure the area you live in used to be the Fall Creek campground. I used to stay there a lot in the early 80's. Branson sure has grown!

Appreciate the drive! I moved to Missouri a few years ago and haven’t really explored Branson area.

Where are you in Missouri? I've noticed a lot of Missouri residents make weekend trips to Branson. It will be a fun place to explore. Hope you can make it. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Definitely grown since I last saw it 20 years ago. It's like a mix of Nashville and Gatlinburg.

That's for sure but it has changed with less emphasis on theaters and more on family entertainment and attractions. Thanks for watching and commenting!

I got married in 1978; we honeymooned in Branson because I was in college and my wife was secretary, hence we had no money. Honestly, not a tremendous amount has changed. The most notable change, of course, is that Highway 76 now has a turn lane. Other than that, it’s mostly repetitious - every few hundred yards is a repeat of the last. Of course, now there are scores of buildings and entertainment centers for sale. We still go to Branson every few years - I don’t know why exactly, as every trip is punctuated with more places that are out of business. But there is a Walmart now, for your shopping pleasure.

Walmart was actually there in the 80's or earlier. It was kind of an attraction in itself back then.

It is amazing that the traffic is that light at mid-day on a Friday. I heard in another video, by the Americana Theater guy, that the Andy Williams Theater was sold to the people who run the big Noah's Ark in Kentucky. It should be interesting to see how they use the theater to share their faith. I plan on being in Branson in about a week for a reunion down in my home town. I am anxious to use all I learned from your videos about the routes. Thanks for all the driving tips.

I also saw that video. I was glad to hear that it won't be torn down and that although the number of seats in the theater will be reduced, they are keeping a theater there. Hope you have a great trip to Branson! Let me know what new things you find! Thanks as always.

DANG!! Missed it. Got tied up with other stuff. Pretty low traffic on the strip there. I've heard good things about the new Side Chick restaurant. I'll be back in town in a little over two weeks. Looking forward to it.

The traffic was low for midday Friday. I have another coming up soon from later in that same day for comparison. Silver Dollar City videos coming! Are you okay if I mention you when we met up? Thanks for watching and supporting what I do.

@@murphysoutfitters9649 You're welcome as always and next time we're both in Branson I would love to meet up for coffee or lunch or something! Working on Silver Dollar City now. It's hard to decide where to divide 2 1/2 hours of unedited video into parts!

@@findushere Most people have no idea how much work KZbin is. I've tried it, it's a lot. I look forward to the results you come up with.

@@murphysoutfitters9649 I started the channel with ten videos complete and released them once a week while still working full time. I had five more made by the time I used them. I was able to keep up after that until I "retired" eight months after starting it. It's been pretty much a full time job since but with lots more flexibility. I can now do two videos a week most of the time and the workflow is getting easier. I still love it though! Viewers like you make it worth it! Thanks.

Looks like a lot of attractions are closed ? Is April a bad time to visit ? Hate to visit a ghost town. Any opinions ?
@findushere7 ай бұрын
I personally think April is a great time to visit. Plenty to do. Most shows and attractions are open without long lines and lots of kids. Even though the traffic may not show it, there was a decent crowd in town during this visit. If you're planning an April/May trip, go and enjoy. I think you'll find plenty to do. Thanks for the questions and for watching the video!

I painted Many signs back in the day on Branson. These days, Branson has went corporate and way Overpriced. The only thing enjoyable was looking at Branson in my rearview mirror heading back back home out of state.
