Eagle Plains is a great place to stop. They have a shop there and they are very helpful . I had to change a tire on my motorcycle after it got sliced on the shale section of road. They let me use the shop to change tires.

It is a great place to stop. We were surprised by how good the food was in the restaurant. I'm glad to hear that they were so accommodating in the shop. Thanks for watching!

Awesome ride along ! Very nice to see great places others share, I'm going part way up into the Yukon in sept, but I need a break from all the work on my off grid cabin where I live fulltime , Next years trip has plans underway so I can spend 6 weeks checking out every road & trail I can possibly get down with my camping rig I built, thank you !

Do you think we would be able to tow our 23 foot trailer on the Dempster?
@TheGnometownCampers
@TheGnometownCampers 2 жыл бұрын
Yes you can, but be aware that it will be shook apart, and the gravel thrown from your tow vehicle will also beat up on your camper. Slow and easy is the way. Thanks for watching.

We left our home in NC the 1st of May and hit Canada around the middle of the month. We entered Alaska the 6th of June or so. We had snow in the Canadian Rockies. June was warm in Alaska, July was cool and rainy. Thanks for the sub and the comment. I am excited for your trip.

@@TheGnometownCampers Thanks for the quick reply. I have another question and I'm sure I'll have more. You mentioned a guide book, what guide book did you use"🙂

We used the Milepost on our trip and we also picked up a guidebook for the Dempster at the NWT visitor center in Dawson City. I think the woman said they were also available at the Tombstone Territorial Park.
