If you have a chance to try it, this car is the best convertible GT car and trust me. Sounds gorgeous(NA V8) People just don’t know how great California is. 599 ,458 and California, are the best.

Quite the opposite. This is a remake of the original California of the 50s-60s. Several design and styling hints, very similar general style, which is timeless. But to each one his own!

+M DOSD my husband bought a California over a 458 because of the 4 seat options. We have young kids and as funny as this sounds, the California was the practical choice because his other car is a 2 seater. It didn't make sense for him to have 2, 2 seater cars because he would be borrowing my car all the time to take the kids anywhere. So it's more of a family car compared to the other Ferraris. We'll later sell his 2 seater for get a 4 seater, then trade the California for the 459 or 488. So to answer you question, some people buy the California if they have a family.
