Love the slo-mo for Fred the tree on the way down.

Jay, appreciate the tip about putting frozen foods and stuff into a ziploc before it goes into the cooler/fridge! Sharing little hints like that makes car camping easier for everyone.

I wish someone told me that hint before I learned it the hard way. Everything in the refrigerator was sticky until I managed to clean the inside thoroughly and the surface of everything that was in it as well.

I have followed your adventures since the AT and really love this trip in southern FL. (I’m in cold Ohio ). Thanks for taking us along!

The trick to get a quick picture there at the “most southern” point is to take the photo... from the opposite side of the buoy. Works every single time I’m down there. And yes you are correct about the Navel base actually being further south than this buoy. Jay, I just looked at a few of you’re earlier videos and I can’t believe that I’ve watched your adventures for more than six(6) now. Time really does fly!!!

Love your videos. I used to live in Key West. And you are right that the Southern most point marker isn’t really the most southern point . That marker has been moved around the island many times. As you thought, the actual most southern point is on the military base. ❤

Thanks again Jay! That long bridge you crossed is where they filmed the famous bridge scene from the movie True Lies with Arnold Schwarzeneggar and Jamie Lee Curtis.

I don't blame you for not waiting in that long line at the buoy at the southern most point, it was too long to make it worth the wait. Thanks for sharing so many beautiful scenes.

My Moms brother was stationed at that military base in Key West. I like it there.

I love KW. I have a time share there and go every October. It's at Coconut Beach Resort next to Louie's Backyard restaurant. That's where Louie got his name from.😅

You should take the high speed ferry out to the Dry Tortugas and snorkel!

I considered it but the best price I could get was about $220 so couldn't really afford that.

That's cool you can walk from the Atlantic Ocean over to the Gulf of Mexico there. 😊

Duval street could've been fun from one end to the other avoiding those chickens. Hemmingway's house is near by with tons of cats too

I know right! So many obviously staying the night. I hope people continue to behave so it's available in the future. It's such a great spot.

Nice, never been there, scary , would be able to justify the camp price out there on the Keys. I looked a google and it looks like the Navy base cheated and land filled a few acres to make their land that farthest south position. The reason I think is that have a raise stand with a dome on the top and I was thinking it might be a radar line of sight choice to track boat traffic. Just a guess on the why.
