I cannot wait to come back here within a month. Glad to see all of the businesses are open. Glad to see life coming back to normal here.

Nice video. I just love that place. It's quite "touristy" but it's relaxing, fun and you forget about life for awhile.

One of our favorite places also 👍🏼. Heading there in 2 weeks! We have also been there for New Years, great time! Ball drop from space needle, and fireworks. I would recommend staying on the strip though, so you don’t need to worry about driving back to your hotel. 🤪

100% agree about staying on the strip

As a resident of Sevier county, I will give you a heads up... Covid numbers have been climbing here since memorial day. We had quite low numbers until tourism started back up. Please be careful and wear your mask.
@MrRycher4 жыл бұрын
Chella Girl thanks for the heads up. We were a bit concerned, but we have plenty of masks. Where we’re from, masks are mandatory in public, so we’re prepared. Rented a cabin and cannot get a refund, so worst case we just stay in the cabin.

I have some requests after watching your videos of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. You should make one of those "Things to Do" videos for Branson, Missouri. I'd like to know what else there is to do in that town besides Silver Dollar City, White Water Branson and the nearby Big Cedar Lodge. You should also make one of those videos for Wisconsin Dells where you showcase all the waterparks and other attractions in the area such as the zip lines, mini golf, etc. Finally, you should make one of those videos for Orlando, Florida as well. We all know that it's home to so many parks but I think people should also have more knowledge on the other attractions in town that tend to get over looked.

Any advice for best things to do at the Strip for folks who are disabled/have limited mobility? My husband walks with a cane due to neuropathy from chemotherapy and I also have somewhat limited mobility. We want to enjoy ourselves when we visit, but I'm worried about access (climbing steps/cramped seating or lack of seating) and the overall amount of walking. If anyone has suggestions, they would be appreciated.

Sweet Fannie Mae Show is closing permanently very soon. It's been there over 20 years. Unfortunately I have never done that show either but I have passed it many times. It has done very well but it is closing forever. Sad really!

My family went last week. A lot of places are claiming they took the Tennessee Pledge. They aren't. No distancing, no masks, nothing. We are showing symptoms now and waiting on test results. Gatlinburg was nice, but it's not a place where people take COVID seriously.

It’s called The Parkway not the strip. Doesn’t Parkway sound more pleasant than strip?? It leads to and from the park. There are no streets sign or addresses that sat the strip. It’s a pet peeve of mine to hear it called the strip. Sounds trashy and like Vegas. The Gatlinburg Parkway is so fun to visit, it’s beautiful clean and leads to the most beautiful place in the world to me. Stay safe, stay well, leave no trace.
