The best jewelry designers in the United States, are located in downtown Yazoo city. They have made many pieces for my mother and I the past check them out.

i grew up there, my heart. It looks almost unchanged. My grandmother had a house on a hill just outside of town. I played in the forest behind it.

I just want to know more about this place my grandfather and his seven siblings lived here. He was very protective of his past and they were separated. All I know is they had the last name freemon which later turned into freeman

3:02 down past the blueish green building is The Wash Rose Building 431 South Main Street Yazoo City Mississippi and on the end of Main Street my grandfather Leon Wardale Warrington Sr. made the first standing Santa Claus of Main Street .

Seems like this city had something to offer in its heyday, but urban blight has come to visit this once bustling place that the old timers so proudly boast of the swinging town of Yazoo, City MS, especially after pay day and a little loose change to buy the family some long desired good looking duds and high heels. Can't say I share that same sentiment today. The old crowd that ran the stores have passed on and the younger generation are not so interested in carrying on the same tradition, but prefer the big city life and malls.

I went to Yazoo City this past weekend. I used to hang out with my cousins during the late 70s. My uncle used to have a construction company on Grady Street called Gordon Construction. I used to ride my bike all over town. We would go to 4 points and sometimes through the graveyard past the witch's grave. What memories! A lot has changed since then.

Glad you got a chance to see it now! This was my first time and I was surprised at how large of a city it was. Also how hilly it is there. I was expecting a delta terrain and that is, as you know, certainly not the case. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment your story about the city. Really cool to hear from people who have ties to places. 👍🏻🙂
