I love hearing Kristen giggle while you're filming. She seems like such a sweet, genuine person. On a different note, you've had some pretty awesome adventures so far. Cannot WAIT to get up to Alaska and see some of them for myself.

I love how you have taken the time to learn the names and pronunciations of our things. Most people new to Alaska would be giving out false information and not even learning how to say things right. I am awesomely impressed HELLADude!

Hey DudeLikeHELLA I had an idea for a great time lapse. Might have to wait until you are in the new house. Show the sun as it creeps more southward every day until it doesn't come up at all. I would love to see that from your perspective, especially with Nathan's music. Kristen, you are a trooper, lady. I am terrified of heights, I have a hard time going up two floors in a glass elevator, you wouldn't get me up on that lift, no matter what the reward on the other end. I am proud of you for doing it with a smile!

I'm really lovin' the everyday vlogs. As a city folk, the things that you show us are truly eye-opening and incredible. Thank you so much Cory! All that many hours of trying to load the videos is worth it, I say :P Oh and Kristen is such a sweetheart too. Hope she feels better soon.

you know how when you cross the CA OR border there is a sign that says " Welcome to Oregon enjoy your visit?" we used to get a good laugh out of that. A very polite way of saying "you can visit, just don't plan on staying". thats how we interpreted it anyway. We were moving from the bay area to just outside portland at the time and i was 7 months pregnant with my first. 1979.

Yes, you went to Whittier! On my recommendation, right? ;) I went on a boat trip to see a glacier there, which was pretty cool. There used to be a reindeer where it said Jolie.

Oh wow! That looked like quite the experience! I've been down into a mine before (a copper mine to be exact) on a 5th grade field trip. We got to ride in mine carts and everything. I don't remember how far down we went but the elevator ride to get down there took around 10 minutes. It was really eerie feeling and damp, but it was such an awesome experience and I'll never forget it. I'd love to go there again but sadly they closed down years ago.

Btw--some things you'll want for your car: 1 or more ice scrapers of varying textures, brushes and/or mini brooms (snow removal), small shovels (folding etc.), something to put between your door and the car to prevent it freezing shut at times, etc. :3 Going to be interesting. Thanks for sharing.

Dude, I've been through that tunnel, it blew my mind! We had to sit for 45 minutes or so for a train and the other side to go through but it was worth the wait. It took us a solid 15 minutes to drive through it. Try holding your breath through THAT!

DudeLikeHELLA That tunnel you went through, it's 2 miles long. Use to be just for the trains a long time ago, but since it's the only way to get between the two cities, they opened it to the public. When I was in Alaska and we had to go from Anchorage to Whittier, into that bay you were at and into Prince William Sound for a kayaking expedition, (that HUGE body of water behind it where the cruise ship would be going into), we went through that tunnel. It's freaking amazing! And if you have the chance, the both of you should check out the Sound! If you want more information about it and my own experiences in Alaska, you can always message me! I'm more than happy to talk about my time!

Great vlog as usual. I don't know what software you use to edit but in Lightroom and FCP7 you can edit one frame and apply it to all frames to get rid of that pesky dust. Nice to see the 5DMll in action as well. Use it at the AWCC down near Girdwood for some cool animal pix. Note my eagle shot;) Here's some news you can use, that bore tide you were watching ends up near downtown Anchorage. Thanks for helping me relive some of my adventures in Alaska.

Consider doing a quick trip to someplace on the Alaska Marine Highway system before it freezes up. It's really cheap for walk-ons and day tripper/whale watcher types. Or you could get a stateroom and head down to Ketchikan for a romantic weekend.

Go to the Sealife Center in Seward. It was my favorite town when I visited Alaska, you can see Iceburgs in the water and check out Kenai Fjords there is the largest Ice flow in the word and it breaks off into 7 glaciers in one area. From Seward you can take a day cruise and see them all. In the summer you have a good chance to see humpbacks as well.

The smooth waves in that tide practically looked unreal! Also, the wallet situation was too bad. It was nice of you to try and get it back to its rightful owner, but gosh does it make it tough when they don't have anything at all in it other than cash. As an aside, I wanted to say thanks for really keeping up in the frequency of these vlogs! It reminds me so much of when you started the channel up originally. It's too bad you don't get better internet there, but it seems like most of the other advantages you get more than make up for it.

Im really enjoying these vlogs Cory :) I have to be honest..I lost touch with your vlogs for a while..however, since you announced where you were moving to a new place I thought I'd tag along on your journey. I got really curious and looked up pictures on google of Anchorage which is a city I never heard of. Of course photos only don't do it justice same with many other places. I always feel so curious about new places thats not a typical touristy destination, exploring something different. I don't think I'll ever have a reason to travel there in my lifetime, so I would never know what its like. So thank's for taking us along on your journey :) Sorry for my weak english. Love ur cats and dog! Greetings from UAE.
