Thank you for showing me the city where I have lived for the past 40+ years. When I'm driving I have to look carefully at the road, the traffic and other obstacles, so it was a pleasure to be able to look round and see more. You must have chosen a quiet time of day. Apart from Sunday mornings when the road is mostly clear, it takes me several minutes to get through Limbe.

I have visited Lilongwe last September..Blantyre seems to be a little more organized. Though there was a lot of construction going on at the time. Maybe it's better now. As a African American who wants to create a business in Malawi. What permits and visas would I need? Who would I contact or talk to about doing business in Malawi? I am more interested in manufacturing of food snacks. Such as cakes donuts and cookie products. I hope to build distribution and eventually export products. But I need contacts of where to start.

Business registration can be done online. Google MBRS registration online portal. Tax registration can be done online - Malawi revenue authority also has a website. Also check the Malawi bureau of standards - they might have a website aswell. For business residence permit you will need to contact immigration. And depending on which city you set up shop you will also need a business permit from the local city assembly
