FANTASTIC ROADRUNNER🚘🎄🎥. Beautiful views along the way😲 . Bypass obviously a good idea as it reduces traffic through beautiful quiet Manikata 🏘. Your starting point was "ZEBBIEGH" (limits of Manikata) . Steve, last time you were there in Manikata was in September 2020 trekking along to the "Bronze Age Village" - (excellent vlog, you even got attacked by a Python 🐍😂 ). That yellow flower/weed on the roadside is called Cape Sorrell (origin :South Africa) or "Haxixa Ingliza" (English Grass) because it was introduced to Malta by the English 🏴 (British) over 150yrs ago and it spread all over the island. Also got it here 🇦🇺. THANKS STEVE - loved it 👏. Cheers 👍 🇲🇹 ♥ 🇪🇺 ™

Stayed in Mellieha the first time we went to Malta in about 2007, loved it so much we returned 4 times in the next three years. We stayed in the Riu Seabank, lovely hotel. The resort never felt crowded, let's face it, if this was Spain there would be about 30-50 hotels there. We used to enjoy a drink from the beach cafe about half way along the beach. Been too long since I returned to Malta so I need to go back.

Thanks for the videos chap, just found the channel and will be watching more. 🙂 stayed in Melihea on my first trip to Malta about 5 years ago. Heading over again in April and staying in tourist central Qawra! Much needed holiday after all this recent c*vid business. Looking forward to relaxing and mooching about Valletta doing some photography 📸 if I spot you I’ll buy you a beer (or ice cream).. Thanks for sharing 👍

Hi Steve, for me that video was one of your best. Most times I stopped in Mellieha and if I was at the beach and the wind was blowing in I would go over to Golden Bay, less windy, and always through Manikata. How it has changed. So many houses. Brought back so many lovely memories. Must watch it again, and perhaps again. Many thanks.

Hey Steve, I do love a Road Runner 🚗💨 The views were spectacular and the sea so blue 🌊 What year did you move to Malta Steve? Also been meaning to ask what’s happened to the credits and the music at the end? I miss them! That’s usually the point I know to press pause and write my comment 😁
@EnglishmaninMalta2 жыл бұрын
Hey Rachel..I also like doing roadrunners but I noticed the views not so good , but the latest is doing a lot better, a little secret about the ending 🤫🤫 to get a video suggested on KZbin I have to try a keep my viewers on the platform, and I noticed as soon as i started ending the video many click off, so hopefully the shortcuts during the end encourage views to click on another video, 🤞🤞 First time in malta 1977, and been backwards and forwards since then, came to live around 25 years ago

Nice video Steve I know that area very well i can drive slow to annoy a bumper hogger or quick like an arse too so fit right in.lol Two points I would like to raise are ...good job on not getting t boned on that bloody roundabout by the beach and secondly why didnt you drive quicker round the bends coming down the hill. I have been moaned at by the other half now cos apparently you are slow and steady, a safe driver, she could enjoy the view blah blah blah.I am a hold on tight and fight the understeer merchant racing the locals.
