I was invited by Mini UK to drive one of three Italian Job inspired Mini JCW hatches to Turin, Italy to recreate the Italian Job. What happened next was a trip of a lifetime !!!

The Italian Job is my all time favourite film, since my dad took me to see it when I was young! The rooftop circuit is amazing! Must have been like riding in a velodrome for the first time( hopefully you know what I mean ,being a Peddler!)

Hi Lydia, it was very much like a velodrome. Very steep and if you drove round too slowly you could feel the car slipping down the banking 😂

Great trip Pete, the Lingotto has a huge place in the history of industrial architecture, beautiful and intelligent, though it became obsolete very quickly. Also was one of the longest buildings in the world. Was really dissappointed when I visited a few years ago that it had become such a tacky shopping mall...great to see you using it as intended.

Can't believe they drove down those stairs, they are so steep ! Apparently the sewer scene was filmed in some pipes in the UK. We thought better of driving across the weir too 😂

Cracking video Pete,I had to watch it twice.The Italian job has got to be one of the old time classics and to recreate the roof top scene must of been fantastic.Did you go on the road where the mafia through the cars off the cliff.After watching the video I Rang my local mini dealership to see how much a pair of spot lights would cost for the wife’s Red 2 door Mini Cooper S and I was shocked when they said £455 + VAT.But you are right,they look better with spot lights on.Cracking videos as always 👍
