I feel extremely sad after seen this tour video. Acapulco is no longer the paradise I knew before. My parents used to have a winter home in one of the poshest neighborhoods in the city, sharing the beautiful streets with people like Dolores del Rio, Johnny Weissmuller, Hedy Lamarr, John Huston and many other stars alike. Once in awhile we came across Farah Diva, the Shah of Iran and their kids having dinner at a local neighborhood restaurant. Now I only see dilapidated streets full of taquerias, shanty businesses, and plastic tents all over. Where did the beautiful city go? Where' s the World's Jet-Set Capital? I'm so dismayed after what I've seen. RIP the beautiful City of Acapulco.

Sha of Iran used to live in Cuernavaca because Mexico was the only country brave enough to let the man in with his family. Later USA auth the Sha, with cancer, to enter US for health treatment only.

@@carriebtc Cancun took Acapulco’s place
@carriebtc2 жыл бұрын
@@NoNamePerson98 Perhaps Cancun took Acapulco's tourists by numbers, but it never took its title as 'The Place' for the World's 'Jet Setters'. You've never seen 10, 12, or more World 'Stars', Politicians, Royalty, or 'Jetsetters' in one single night at a restaurant in Cancun. Acapulco was another World. So sad to see what happened to this beautiful place. Impossible to describe what Acapulco used to be years ago. Sad
