Driving Tour of Morganton NC Late Summer 2023

Here’s a driving tour of Morganton North Carolina that I shot a couple of weeks ago. I shot this with a GoPro hero 11 and 5.3 K.

Hi Tony! Your videos are the reason we live in Morganton.We were living in FL and miserable(we are MA natives) and we're looking to move north and came across your videos after deciding to research NC. We bought a camper and packed up our 4 dogs and headed for NC in March of 2019. We lived in the camper for 5 months before buying our home in Morganton in August 2019 and we absolutely love it here and I also work for UNC Health Morganton as well.😊

I will live in asheville and another local town to see if I like north carolina and I want to make sure I go live in a city that I could live in. This is where your videos come into play. Hii!!! Thank you so much for these videos. I was researching places to live in North Carolina and came across your videos. It has helped my husband and I choose to live in Morganton. We are so excited to check out the town this November !! I got a chance to see what the area looks like thanks to you. We’ve lived in Florida all our life we wanna try something new !

It’s a great place to live honestly. It’s modestly affordable but not the cheapest. I do like the vibe and the people a lot though. It’s really a beautiful area close to the mountains in close to some big metropolitan areas if you need to go there for some reason.

Hey Tony! We really enjoyed this video. Morganton is a beautiful city with a lot of interesting sights to see. You do such a great job videoing and showing off this part of N.C. Hi, I was born and raised in Hickory, and after moving around a bit my husband and I are considering moving back to the foothills. Does this hospital take Tricare (military) insurance? I know there is a VA in Asheville, but I’m looking around to find out what healthcare options we would have if we move back in our retirement. Thanks!

Etta Baker, Johnny Bristol, Leon Johnson, Tamishan and places like Jonesboro, Fonta Flora, Huntertown and Mount Olive. Morganton has a rich Black history. Burke Co. is old and well documented. It's the oldest County and City in WNC.
