What option do you choose when you cancel a ride ?

On Lyft you just swipe up to cancel. I only cancel when I get a higher priced ride

I haven’t had to use it yet but i heard on uber if you cancel for safety reasons it doesn’t count towards your cancellation rate. Not sure how many times you can use that reason though.

Don't ever apologize or feel guilty for protecting yourself. That's how you compromise and "feel bad" and then you get burnt. I always told my kids; if someone is offended SO F*ING WHAT! They'll get over it. And one time it paid off for my daughter. She was at the Rio and didn't get on the elevator because the dude didn't look right. Didn't worry about offending him. Guess what? He turned around and started following her. She had to run from him and find security. You're learning the areas. Don't go near Maryland Pkwy dude. And I would recommend no rides north or off Sahara period. And no rides to or from Fremont. Fremont St. is always making the news for people getting beat up, stabbed, shot and killed.

I was just in Vegas. One Uber driver told me they were building some type of race track on the streets and it might hurt the amount of rides they can do.

Always trust your instincts. If your gut is telling you something isn't right then it probably isn't. Get out and get out quick. You did exactly the right thing. Maybe the rider was on the up and up and maybe he wasn't. Its not worth it to find out though. Real bad looking area. One of the things new drivers were always warned about was riders asking to be picked up or dropped off behind something or in an alley late at night. Usually bad news in the areas we worked. Stay safe

I'd love to get a Tesla! I would say between $25-$35+/hr it all depends on which celebrity/event is in town.

I'm a Uber driver too and this video is misleading. This guy earnings was made on a good day when it was surging here in Vegas. It typically take 12 hours to make $200 here and that is a fact. He just want you to sign up under his affiliate link.

Well I’m here in Vegas just had a 1953 week on 39 hours online with 72 total rides 2 best days 515 and 450. Hitting the quest bonus is a big game changer.
