We drove up Mt Lemon in 1975, to see the fresh snow that year. At mile marker 13.5 (looks like about 21:58 on the video) a Mercury Cougar, driven by pregnant female, crashed head-on into us. The vehicle was owned by a young man who was high on drugs in the back seat. Neither the female nor the high boy were cited, as it seems his father was the mayor or a Counsel-man, something. I would love to know who it was, he's probably in politics now.

Thank you for showing this exciting video. I just wanna know if my sedan car 2009 malibu is possible to get up there on mount lemmon. I will drive more than 3hrs to get there. And is it okay to turn left if the stop over is on the left side where we can take picture?

Yes, I saw several sedan cars on that road. Some are in the video. Yes, you can turn left into a pullover.

Just such a futile drive, go up, come down. they need to figure out a way to bring a highway down on the other side so there's an actual reason to go up there.

There's a ski resort at the very top. That's mainly why people go there but its a nice park in the summer.
