Zzyzx was the most quiet location I've ever visited, it was surreal and kind of overwhelming. The only sound I could hear was my own breathing - no cars, no wind, no animals.

why didnt you go the the famous mineral springs abandoned. there are some left over buildings . the guy who opened the springs was a crook promised all kinds of cures in the pools.
