Hi Rusty. I use walnuts with the shell to apply pressure to my lower back while driving and it lessens the urge to urinate. There is a nerve that affects the bladder. The point in the lower back that is associated with controlling the urge to urinate is the sacral nerve, located near the base of the spine. Stimulating this nerve can help manage bladder function and reduce urinary urgency. This area in the spinal cord at the base of the spine is responsible for sending signals to the bladder, controlling urination. Nerve stimulation therapy: For people with overactive bladder issues, a treatment called sacral nerve stimulation uses a device implanted near the sacral nerves to deliver electrical impulses and help regulate bladder activity. The sacral nerves are situated in the lower back, near the tailbone.
