Thank you for the video, I have question below. If you are turning right to a major road. The car coming from right is very far, can you position your self in his lane waiting for the cars from the left to give you way or for when it gets clear? Would they fail you for doing this? Also in case of accident and claim, would they through all the blaim to the driver entering the major road for doing this? Because he didnt had preority? (If there was video, he could not be liable if he was just stoped and other vehicle in movement hits him, but what then if there was no proof or wetness, who would they belive..)?

Great video just wanted to clarify I am okay to drive in hatched road markings with a broken line? In highway code I’m pretty sure it says only to do this if it’s an emergency (referring to video on turning right from major to minor) TIA
@worlddriving Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. The Highway Code says... If the area is bordered by a broken white line, you should not enter the area unless it is necessary and you can see that it is safe to do so. If the area is marked with chevrons and bordered by solid white lines you MUST NOT enter it except in an emergency.

13:40 Is it a minor if you don't?
@worlddriving Жыл бұрын
Depends what the outcome of it is. If you coast and nothing serious happens then it would be a driving fault (minor). If you persistently do it then it would be a serious fault.
