Really helpful, I struggle to digest what my driving instructor is saying as we're doing crossroads because there's already so much to think about. So being able to come on here and go at a slower place is awesome. Watching you explain it and then show us in the care is ace.

Dear Francis, it is beyond words how much this has helped me and improved my understanding and confidence for turning right at the traffic lights! I was so anxious about this until now. Tutorial just couldn't have been better put! Exactly what we learners need. Just the words and pictures in the textbooks are often not enough. Being actually in the seat and being able to face real case scenarios at the busiest times and the trickiest junctions we can face is where the deal is, that's the amazing beauty of this! From zero to hero just by watching this tutorial! Thanks a million!

Mate I loved it, I'm not even learning to drive, I've been driving for 10years and just like to brush up on my knowledge, and you make the videos very understandable. And its a pretty good thing to see an experienced driver doing the manoeuvre and explaining it as you go, rather than a sweaty scared teenager who too busy trying to remember everything to keep the car moving and take it in all the info the teacher is saying.

I'm German and an experienced driver, but I'm watching your videos to prepare for my first time behind a wheel in Ireland. It's so interesting to me that turning behind each other at a crossroad is considered the safe and right option! On our streets that's a big no-no! You are taught to never ever do that in driving school so I don't think I will feel safe trying to do that...but I'll give it my best!

Very nice video! I really wanted to see the situation where you and the oncoming traffic goes behind each other for turning right. great video this has helped me understand right turns at crossroads a lot. I recently passed and not so confident with turning right on these big crossroads, had a disaster where I was third car and I decided to follow the cars in front of me turning right hoping for the best, the lights turnt red and there was lots of oncoming traffic. Ended up being stuck on the yellow box while the other lanes turnt green , total disaster. Now i understand better after watching this.

This video is so helpful, I've been so nervous about crossroads and junctions, but I feel so much more confident in what I should be doing now I've watched this video. Also thanks for the repeated real life demos - major help and reassurance to see that it doesn't always go according to plan or theory, but how to handle it safely and confidently when that happens, AND grate mental prep and examples of the potential hazards to be alert to. Honestly, this video is absolute gold!!! Thank you so much!

Quality video. This will help me with a tricky crossroad junction near my area which involves a 50 mph dual carriageway (horizontal traffic flow) and a normal 30 mph road (vertical traffic flow). I find most cars go nose to nose. I think doing it the way you suggested would confuse or frustrate other drivers and they will assume you're blocking them. Great vid though. I've been driving for some years now and I still get nervous about turning right at cross roads like this. A junction near me, there is a specific light for turning right as well as a normal straight on light, but lots of drivers ignore it and go forward into the junction before the green light shows for the right turn but obviously when the normal green light is on. Is that allowed? Some motorists who are familiar with the crossroad seem to become impatient if you wait for the green light to turn right.

Yea this happened to me in my last lesson and I ended up having to go straight forward
