Just passed!!! 4 minor faults and almost two majors, nerves were like jelly. Remember folks, DON'T GIVE UP. I thought I failed within 20 minutes of the test, but clearly showed my displeasure and the examiner noted my anger at the mistake. They take into account how safe you are. Whilst I made mistakes, I was EXTREMELY safe. I even got one hesitation, but it worked out for me. Had I not hesitated, I would've crashed at a roundabout.

Also just want to say, for those with an upcoming test: confidence is so so important for passing. It truly gives you the best chance, because it's true that some things are down to luck and the discretion of the examiner. For example, I was (technically) ready for my previous test but my lack of confidence showed and I could tell the examiner was more precautious as a result - evidently leading to a serious on something another examiner might have brushed off. But this time around I put the examiner at ease straight away, to the point that by the time it got to my parking manoeuvre about 3/4 of the way through (which was a tricky one as the lines of the bay were severely faded), the examiner told me it was good and to head off before I'd even stopped the car! Then they were chatting away with me for the rest of the test because I hadnt given them any reason to think they needed to be vigilant! So please please give yourself the best chance by just being assured that you know what you are doing. From that the test will be easier. And you will avoid wasting a lot of time, money and tears! (Speaking from experience 🙂) Good luck! X

@mleeha3769 thank you!! I honestly don't know how I pulled it off, no extra practise, done around 45 hours to know the test routes etc and just took my time on the test! I was shaking like a leaf for days before it but kept thinking all I need to do is show I'm a safe driver😊 it was the hardest test centre in Scotland too, couldn't believe it!

Just wanted to come on here to say that I only just found your videos a few days before my test, but they have been so helpful in helping me sharpen up the edges - particularly the mock videos with how clear and informative they are, so thank you! I can now happily say I passed this morning (3rd attempt) with only one minor! And to all current learners out there, I was a nervous wreck for a long time as a learner - and for a while I thought maybe driving just wasn't for me. Yet now I can safely say I am a good, competent driver. I never thought I'd get here. Thank you SO much for this helpful video, which I must have watched ten times! I took my practical exam in my instructor's Ford Puma last week and used this video to study. I think my examiner was impressed with my responses (pretty much word-for-word from your video), and I went on to pass on my first try with only three minors! This was such a useful study aid and helped bolster my confidence a bit going into the test. Really appreciate the clear communication and helpful visuals. I got 8 minors but I wasn't successful on passing the test, as my 'observations at junctions' made it become 1 serious fault and, therefore, it was this that let me down. Have managed to book another test though; so will see what happens then. In the meantime, I am going to continue watching your very helpful and informative videos over the coming weeks and months. Hi there, I just got back from my test. I would like say to say thank you so much for the video. I really help me with confidence. They asked me about head restrain and wash the front screen. My test was at 8.20 and was 1st time I drove at this time. Am so ill with some conditions are flared up and no sleep. Before started I had about 1 hour so my instructor asked to practice about 30 mins which helped a lot to warmed up and claimed myself down. To test the brakes before driving the car, push down on the brake pedal it should feel firm when pressed, not spongy after first testing the breaks the do the drive forwards and break to make sure the car is breaking in a stright line

My driving test is today which will be my third one. I failed the first one due to 1 major and 3 minors due to a mistake. The second time, nerves completely got the best of me and messed up due to the extra pressure. I was being way to over cautious and second-guessing myself constantly, so I'm hoping third time is a charm as when I'm with my instructors, I can drive just fine.

I didn't pass the third time, but unfortunately, ever since my first test, my confidence on a test has taken a hit. Despite my lessons, I've been driving around just fine, and I can't seem to shake it off the nerves.
