It's also worth noting that xDrive models will have a 70:30 split in power, so it's more of a rear wheel drive car when whipping it around corners, and it can also put 100% of the power to any wheel. It certainly drives different than the X1

Adaptive cruise control is an optional you can buy (two more buttons on the sterring wheel). Adaptive suspensions are a must for comfort, better than msport fixed asset. Gold color is quite horrible by the way, just take it blue, black or white. Carplay (wireless) is super easy to setup, maybe you don’t have it. Missing blind spot detection is a BIG mistake but this car is fantastic to drive, expecially the m35i

Have you tried connecting your phone via bluetooth, the screen has a "communication" section, click "manage mobile device" on the menu, then click "connect new device", then click "Apple Carplay". Then the screen shows you the identification number for your phone to connect to. That's it.

Next time you take a BMW for testing, take advantage of the New Car Delivery Specialist to educate you on all the functions. Then you will enjoy the product to its fullest instead of whining about your lack of product knowledge. The BMW is The Ultimate Driving Machine. I worked for 20 years with M- Benz. Then I worked 27 years with BMW with about half that time as a New Car Delivery Specialist. Thank the Lord I'm retired now at 70.

My son wrote a school paper about "driving in his dad's Bentley to the coast" in first grade. (It was, of course, a review car.) My wife was mortified and felt compelled to explain to the teacher "it was just a review car!" Not sure it mattered. Lol. So yes, in terms of what to expect out of car cars, my kids are horribly spoiled. They make take over for me in a few years. -RD
