This guy does a great job. Pleasant, professional, down to earth. Refreshing.

Love mine ,first electric car and been great! Bit of faffing getting to use the charging , but all sorted in the app . Got the 2024 version audi and been a pleasure to drive 👍

Same here, never thought I would own an electric car but it is a great runner. Seems more like a car that they made electric, rather than the other way around.

I appreciate the "I don't judge" remark in the interior review. It was a nice gesture while still staying on topic.

I have a MY22 Q4 50 e-tron quattro with the older 295hp setup with all options which I brought during COVID time. Overall satisfied with the car - the best point, is how NORMAL it feels - it doesn't feel like a weird science experiment or spaceship. It is far better made & more comfortable than any Tesla and drives like any Audi with how it handles and feels on the road. It isn't ludicrously fast and the ~400km of range isn't spectacular but it does everything well. That said in 2025, Audi has significantly increased the price tag of the Q4. If I were to buy today, I probably gravitate towards the Cadillac Lyriq or Volvo C40 Recharge, or the now significantly less expensive Mach-E which I did cross-shop back in 2022 when the Audi and Ford almost were the same $$$ (!).

I've always felt the best way to get people interested in new tech is to play it safe everywhere else. It's better IMO to ease people into the future than to shock their system with too many abrupt changes at once.

Great videos, thank you! I drove the 2024 version of that car for a week in the north of Norway, and the paddles work great as a complement, and you almost not need to use the breaks. Once you get used to, it is fun. And the car is very snappy.

For $66K it's a tragedy - I would still choose the Subaru Outback Touring which may not have such an advanced HUD but has ventilated seats and a heated steering wheel and I would still have over $16K left in my pocket.

That's good looking. I hope the next Q5 looks like that.

Thank you very much for the presentation and review. It was really insightfull. Great overall electric car with some limited offroad capabillities. I did some digging and there are some limitations . It is not recommended to put the car in more than 30cm in water (11.9 inches). If the water is salted there is extra danger. The towing capacity is 1200kg (2645 lb). The battery warranty is 8 years or 100000 miles .Overall this car is great to drive and can take someonoe to a lot of places with the cost of an ev vehicle.

Love Audi's. I've owned three. The last a TT with 225hp and 6 speed manual. Quattro of course. Haldex. Yeesh. Nothing like the Quattro I had in the old 4000S Quattros Rule of thumb, sell before 80k (as they get pricey to repair vs. value)

I have a friend with a Q5 plug in hybrid and the controls and screens in his car are great. Nothing haptic. Knobs and toggle switches for climate control. VW decided that the controls on the EVs had to be different and I think it was a bad idea. I love the styling on the Audis and the controls on this are okay, but it bugs me that they could be better if they just used what they use on their gas cars.

Great review as always. I love Audi vehicles but I still think that EV’s in general are going to go the plastic products route on the long run.

Today’s Wall Street Journal just showed the European EV sale statistics. In 2024 the Full EV and plug-in hybrid market share of all vehicles sold in Europe is lower than last year. The regular hybrid share is increasing. I guess that’s because of Toyota vehicles.

2025, Audi's EV still doesn't have 'Driver Assist with Area View', it's a shame, Audi.....
@jimwilson5338Ай бұрын
All the information in the HUD is just a distraction, if a driver needs assistance knowing where the lane is, they probably shouldn't be driving. lol

There is a OFF button if you don't want to see it. I find it very helpful in dark country roads, especially when there are glares from on-coming traffic or when people forget to put their lights on. Of course, I can drive without it but what's wrong with some extra safety?

$66k and no front ventilation or rear heated seats. Disappointing

audi is desperate to lease these and you can get them incredibly cheap. Pretty much their cheapest car now and while it does miss some of the comfort of even the A4 you still get a very good value for your money

I think most of the outside China car manufacturers need to ask the Chinese how their back/front/full cameras are so crisp. We're in 2024, and some still can't figure this out.

@ -cheap materials, car does not feel like an audi -not enough range, even worse in colder climates -no front boot -too expensive ( I do drive one, but i dont own it ) -no identity, the car does fit in. It is not a real suv nor a a normal car. -horrible cameras -weird clanking sound in the front breaks It drives good and i like the look, but i am bit sad because i expectet more
