I just passed my test and it was my first try! The secret is have some confidence and try to relax while driving. Make sure that the driving examiner is relax as well and be observant and aware with your surroundings. TAKE 3 deep breaths before you get in the car and break gently!!! After 2 fails I finally got my license, without having to retake the test. It's pretty easy for the evaluator to fail you for simple mistakes so keep your head up if it happens. Failure doesn't necessarily mean you're a bad driver. Keep practicing and go at it again. But for me I took a step further by contacting a private license and professional dmv attorney that helped me to write a provisional letter to bypass the test drive and i was given a provisional driver's license which will last for 12 months. I got a license now and it will serve for 1 year then I renew again,works in all states. My little advice. * If you think are too nervous for the test drive then you can easily switch to a provisional driver license which you won't need to test drive. A provisional licence is not very different from an official licence.

I haven't been able to take formal driving lesson because of limited availability so have been practicing with my family and watching videos for tips. Just had my driving test today and failed with 6 minors. At this point I would gladly go with the provisional license if you can glad make it available by recommending me to the attorney.

@@J07yy they only ask you “if you park on a hill which way should you turn the tires”. And then you have to park, reverse, parallel park (depends on your state mine doesn’t require it), speed up and stop quickly, turn signals, where is the brakes/turn signals/emergency lights/gears/windshield wipers etc, and pull over on the side of the road or wherever the test is taking place. It takes all of 5-10 minutes the actual driving test part the. Longest part is waiting in the DMV so make sure u make an appointment so u can skip the line! ❤️

Thank you guys! I did not pass that day. But I was so determined to pass I set up another appointment immediately for Dec. 6th and I passed! I ended up taking it in another location after failing in the same location twice. So if you’re feeling the pressure too much in one location try another and see how that works out. Including Parallel Parking! California has a difficult test for the USA. Like the UK since the 1990s thankfully I didn't have to do. My Daughter has passed the UK Theory Test. She has the final practical booked so I wish her best of luck even though she's taking extra lessons.

I just got my permit last week! Set my test for August, because I desperately need my license before classes start up again. I've been driving for an hour every day, and plan to continue to do so. Started driving on real roads just a couple days ago. Does anyone have helpful tips for learning quickly?

@@porkling4105 i passed! the only major problem i had was not making a full stop at a crosswalk but everything else that was compromising were by other cars on the road and i handled it very well!

Thanks I’m 20 and I just want to know everything for when I take my test one day. I can drive I just do not remember the rules of the road or the traffic signs which is important to know. I need to work on my lane control and the 2 & 3 point turns.
