I'm no medical student but I appreciate your work. I'm here for the ASMR. You should open a second channel just for ASMR doc. No explanations, just the medical exam. You'll see it skyrocket quickly.

I cannot thank you enough for helping normalise positive consent, but especially for doing so in the context of a doctor/patient dynamic where patients may not feel comfortable speaking up.

Yeah i agree, but often it is viceversa: too many questions make the patient uncomfortable, and they say yes but not really understand, they're often elderly. So we usually tend to explain the test before, because during it, we practitionares keep it simple

As someone with proprioception issues as a result of sensory processing disorder I sometimes have problems losing my balance and/or tripping over my own feet, especially if the pressure/fluid in one of my ears is off a bit, it once caused me to have motion sickness for 4-5 hours after getting off of a very rocky boat from Ellis island in New York City and I was never so grateful to see the land stop moving up and down on me as I was that night when my body finally readjusted itself back to normal, walking around the city on foot all afternoon while dealing with that was really difficult. Great test!

Happy new year! I hope this is helpful. There are a couple of other bits that neuro can add on for decompression induced brain insure, but I didn’t think that was appropriate here.

Thanks for posting this; it was very helpful. That said, for patient confidentiality, I highly suggest not having the patient provide the name and birthdate on a shared video. With all of the identify theft, this could inadvertently create a huge problem for the patient.

Dr . Gill . Can this test be used to determine if someone has had a stroke and in the evaluation of a patient that is post stroke ?

It can’t identify something like that - as it is not a specific test in that sense for diagnosis
