My vet wants $70 dollars for a urine test, which i have to bring in fresh. I'm faced with the horrific non choice of putting her down, because i just can't afford it. Test are amazing to figure out the puzzle, but you'd think after all the animal experiments, we would know something, and would be guided in a better manner. Thank you for the video.

Dr. Judy what do you feed a 15 year old Siamese cat with Kidney disease. Here recently he has become lethargic picky eater and for two days doesn’t go to litter box. He always goes to the box. Is it safe to feed turkey or chicken boiled? Vet wants him on prescription diet. He is stage 1. Sorry for lengthy comment help! Love your videos😊

You need to work to bring the BUN down. Good probiotics can help with that and you are most likely at the point where protein needs to be reduced in the diet, as well as getting the phosphorus as low as possible. You can make magic mouthwash. Speak with your vet to get it made. It contains diphenhydramine, aluminum hydroxide, and lidocaine.

Dr. Judy if the SDMA has come out to be 20.1 could that still be a false elevation? HB values are good and creatinine was 1.7, BUN, phosphorus, Sodium, calcium all normal, urinalysis showed traces of protein, and some pus cells but he had mated a day before. KFT was conducted within a gap of 2 days and he had not eaten for a day before the 2nd test, his creatine after 2 days fell from 1.7 to 0.5. Is it possible he had a false elevation in SDMA?

I don't use it but a lot of people use apple cider vinegar for a variety of reasons.
