Mam, im preparing for UPSC and your videos are absolutely helpful. But i had a doubt, in my syllabus, it was mentioned that, Comparative politics and major approaches; Political economy, political sociology perspectives; limitations of comparative method So, i had these topics in my class notes, traditional and modern approaches (systems, str-funct, political economy, developmental, cultural, modernisation, sociology) So, i will just watch those videos and Marxist approach which is important. According to your knowledge are they enough? or should i go for more approaches? i feel they're enough, but i dont know how deep is comparative politics. So syllabus mentions that major approaches, so i doubt that. pls let me know.

I've discussed all the major approaches in the lecture videos. There aren't other approaches under comparative politics beside the ones that have been discussed

Mam i have a doubt.. What is the difference between interest aggregation and rule making function when both makes the law.. Also how far it is correct that an input function can make laws because input functions are those which put the demands. Please clear this. Thankyou
@DrKomalSinghChauhan5 ай бұрын
Interest aggregation mainly collects and combines the demands, that are put into action in the form of policies and decisions through rule making, so it is a step before rule making. This approach has been criticised as vague for similar reasons. What it specifies as an input function can fall under both input and output.
