Ginny David Have you watched many Asian extraction videos? They often butcher the client’s faces with needles/lancets, leaving them a bloody hacked up mess, and don’t even fully empty the pores, which is sure to leave scars. They also cover their gloves with the contents, which is disgusting! This approach is much gentler and more complete.

Your skill is improving with this technique on each patient. It is good to see a doctor that is aware of how painful the eye area is for the patient. I could not imagine how this man walked around with all these blackheads on his face for all that time. Until it occurred to me that there was no good, merciful way to get them out until the cotton buds came along. Congratulations on doing such a great job with the cotton buds Dr Kasana - I am sure it was still a challenge. Very satisfying to watch!

I could watch this all day, every day...it’s so interesting and amazing. If he wants you to get out all of the “black” coloring....you may need to use more force on another day. His skin could look completely lighter (without any shading of black) if he can withstand the pressure. I’ve seen Dr. Vikram and Enilsa Brown do that sort of transformation. The change for this man is already AMAZING (but could get even lighter I think). EXCEPTIONAL job Dr. K. Thank you...I’m so happy for your patient!!!

Dr. K., again thank you for having sound. We know that you have an accent and at times it will be hard to make out all you are saying but it is so good to hear your voice and it was great to hear you conversing with the patient. It was very apparent that you were trying to be gentle and yes, I cannot imagine how sore it must be to that area. I did hear you say that the patient could not apply the medication you ordered for him to apply because he was in a hurry and that with the cream it would have helped with the pain. I have not experienced seeing blackhead removal in this sensitive area, is that the reason you could not probe the blackheads prior to extraction, even with a smaller gauge needle? I saw that you changed cotton swabs more frequently which resulted in less “sliding” over the area and made it easier for extraction. Yes, like other people commenting, what a difference in the looks of the patient with your treatment. In the area where you practice where it probably has more people with Solar Comedones, do you see clients with Blackheads/Whitehead’s/Milia on their eye lids? Thank you so much for sharing this treatment with us, it was very interesting to watch!

I love the clean, careful and gentle technique. I have no time for those who don't wear gloves and spread the dirty (often infected) contents around, do an incomplete job, they yelp and squeal etc. Which is why in most cases it's the professionals who do the best job because they know what they're doing. These are solar comedones. They are caused by sun exposure. Nothing to do with how much you wash your face. Excellent extractions. I can certainly u deter and why Q tips are preferable in this situation rather than the cup extractor! I am really impressed that you learned a new technique to better treat this aspect of skin care.
