This is a good example of one of the many reasons I respect Dr. Lori, she’s a great teacher! A great teacher asks you questions and gets you to use your critical thinking skills instead of just telling you the answers and expecting you to memorize. The lady described as a "heckler" or "passive aggressive" really sounds like someone who was married to a family story that wasn't true. The idea that grandma lied to her and she'd been telling the lie to her own children was simply unacceptable. Her reaction typifies cognitive dissonance. I wonder if or how often I've unknowingly done that. Please kill me if you catch me telling an expert of this caliber that I knew more LOL!

Some people are so ignorant it makes me speechless. I would have accidentally knocked that ladies pottery to the floor when handing it back to her.... but that’s just me. You handled her with grace. 🤦🏼♀️

I know I shouldn't be laughing at your "accident" comment but that really cracks me up. I'm human too, ya know. I appreciate that you (all) have my back.

Hehehe, that woulda been great!! "Ahhhh whoopsies!!" Lol! My immediate thought of her was probably someone in the family told her that story...that it came over in a covered wagon and all. But falsehoods are easily passed down thru the generational lines. My philosophy professor taught on day 1 of class, "If you can walk out those doors the last day knowing LESS than you know right now - I have succeeded as your teacher." We are ever learning and shouldn't act as if we know it all. Shame on her!

You rock, Dr. Lori! Love the way you handled the entrapment and then went on to dazzle with your true expertise, putting that “pottery expert” in her place!

That pottery expert was rude! Way to handle the situation Dr. Lori! Love your show! Hopefully you could visit Anchorage AK in the future.

Dr. Lori, I praise you for your vast knowledge and your prestige credentials, you are genuinely gracious and giving to share your knowledge with everyone. We are forever learning, but to learn from a great master and for free is more than anyone could possibly ask for. I know each and every day we all are learning as more and more antiques surface.

Well Dr. Lori, you can tell she is clearly intimidated by your extensive knowledge. That was so rude of her and childish to try and bait you into something.

You maintained such composure. Of course, you have skill, knowledge, and experience in your corner. I bet that little conversation didn't go as she planned lol!

Cringe 😬 I held my breath that whole interaction. You didn’t even flush or trip over your words and she couldn’t complete a sentence. Love the confidence and way you held your composure. I would have not been so nice 🤣 love you so much!! ❤️❤️❤️

I was smiling hard with the last piece. Dr. Lori is always very knowledgeable about pieces but with that one you could really hear Dr. Lori's education and art appreciation coming out. Like she just couldn't resist going back to talk about overall composition, balance, and color diversity.

I sincerely hope that a Dr Lori fan at this event told that “expert” to hit the pike and take her rudeness with her! What an ignorant thing to do and to say!!! Bye Felicia! We love you Dr Lori!!!!
