@@Ghost_TMS I did a bit of research and www tells that they had about 860hp in the final version and qualifying trim. That's even 50-60hp more than the dominant Renault RS6 engine. So where's my time machine?

Berger took him nearly half a second which means that he wasn‘t that fast, great drive anyway

Oh man, da verpennt der Sprecher völlig, dass Bergers V12 gezeigt wird....Was mir an Berger auffällt, er senkt auf den Geraden den Kopf länger herunter aufs Lenkrad! Wow, sowas habe ich noch nie vorher gesehen. Wahnsinn.

Berger ist 1,85, also war er für die Formel 1 fast ein Riese. Ich bin mir sicher, er hat das im Qualifying gemacht, damit genügend Luft zur Airbox fließt und sich so der Staudruck auf den Luftfilter des Motors erhöht. Der Gerhard hatte durch seine Größe und sein höheres Gewicht erhebliche Nachteile gegenüber kleineren Fahrern.

Er hat sich sogar die Schaumstoffpolster aus seinem Sitz geschnitten damit er im sitzen „kleiner“ ist und der Motor mehr Luft bekommt.

@@thomaskrainer9467 Ich hab mal in einem F1-Jahresbuch gelesen, wie ein Renningenieur gesagt hat das 10 kg Körpergewicht ca. 1 Zehntel Rundenzeit kostet. Wenn man bedenkt das Russell glaub ich fast 1,90 ist dann muß er ja immer einen kleinen Nachteil haben

Das hat Schumacher 1996 ähnlich gemacht; er hatte sogar einen Helm mit einem entsprechenden Design, damit die Airbox möglichst günstig angeströmt wird.

I liked Alesi very much too. But Berger was always better at hockenheim throughout their Ferrari and Benetton years.

Then the proof of Alesi being unlucky, he made the best time and came to lower more. That fairing problem made him waste time and Berger did a better time. And in the race, Alesi abandoned very soon after the start, with the exchange rate broken.

Ferrari descision to use v12 when the others use v10 cost wins,more v open= more power-more speed,but mire fuel = one more pit stop from the others ,

Seid ihr bescheuert?? Die Ferraris von 1989 bis 1995 waren wohl die schönsten Ferraris überhaupt! Aber ihr hab eh keine Ahnung, weil ihr zu dieser Zeit entweder a) noch in die Windeln geschissen habt, oder b) ihr noch nicht mal feuchte Fantasien eurer Eltern wart.

Wobei.. der 1993 Ferrari war schon massiv hässlich.. aber ansonsten waren die Ferraris bis 1995 absolut schön!

Ich finde generell die Autos von 1994 und 1995 toll. Insgesamt optisch schöner als die Jahre zuvor und dann noch das offene Cockpit. Wenn man alles super sicher haben möchte kann man ja was anderes machen. Ich fand es so wie es damals war einfach genial.
