Connecting with the song, with her audience and so full of emotions, she can really deliver the message of the song, geez the only singer in this whole crazy world who can give me goose bumps, and makes me cry. That's what sets her apart, not just her techniques but how she honors every lyric of every song she's singing, as if you're imagining watching a very short film listening to her.

Morissette is truly AWESOME! i've watched so many Vocal coaches, Teachers, Singers, Voice students even music producers like RHETT LAWRENCE producer of Mariah Carey He even watched Morissette's Sold out Concert in ARANETA COLISSEUM. All of them had a Wonderful reactions! Some said Morossette is a beast or not human some are so shookt in her ability, agility, stylistic and her dynamics in singing, her angelic voice some became an addict to watch and listen to her every time Morissette has a video clip to react to and they never got disappointed about her renditions of the songs. That's why She's totally different from the rest a total package of a performer She's AWESOME for me! She is the best at personalizing whatever song she sings. Hand gestures always ring true if their doing what you would normally be doing with them if you were talking. If you try and "be theatrical" it will always be and look forced. Morissette could be a bright Broadway star if she chose to but I think it would be too limiting right now she wants and we need so we can all enjoy her. Thank you Dr. Mark I enjoy the way you dispense your knowledge so even idiots like me can understand. Plus you can tell you are a fan which makes the connection with you real and close, not aloof and distant. Thank you for the great reaction. I wish you would do a reaction to another new voice on the horizon. She is 14 yr.old Daneliya Tuleshova from Kazakhstan. She has been around since going viral with her blind audition for The Voice Kids Ukraine. She sang, 'Stone Cold' at 10 yrs.old. That video went viral as I said and as of today has over 59 million views. She is appearing on AGT 2020 and has made it to the semi-finals. You could react to her version of 'Sign Of The Times' the Harry Styles song. If you don't like those see any version of 'Rise Up' you won't be disappointed. Really though you can listen to anything she sings. I think you will find her intriguing. She a little slip of a thing but her voice is not a little slip of anything, it is big and yet she has had a instinct for taking a song soft yet impactful. For me, she is every bit the equal of Angelina Jordan but has chosen to go in a more pop music direction. Thanks for your consideration.

Morissette is among my top 8 female vocalists. Time for another Diana Ankudinova amazing performance and analysis. Her new “ by your voice” song on her channel will show you how improved she is -especially her high register that she can now sustain notes and phrases. Combined with her contralto is ranking her up there among the world class. Her very latest “ Into the Woods” ( it’s an MV which is good but for analysis i think you will prefer “ By Your Voice”). Most unique most mesmerizing recognizable voice in the world. Only a handful were in the audience. If there were 50,000 they would be screaming, yelling, applauding during and after her beyond amazing performance. No one comes even close . Not Angelina, not Lady Gaga, not Billie Eilish, not Lara Fabian ( well, maybe) not Mariah, not Celine , not Morissette, not Floor, NO-ONE , when I hear the first 30 seconds of any song I can tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt if it’s Diana. The only other vocalist I can say with certainty is Dimash. There was a ranking company that listed the top 30 female vocalists in the world. And they ranked her Number 1. Morisette sings with clarity on all the lyrics unlike Dimash, that you cannot even understand his accent when he sings. Just my opinion though.

Agreed. Nathan many have the same thought just afraid of the backlash from his fans I think. Dimash needs to work on his enunciation every time he sings in English. He would sound a lot better.

Dimash is a monster in vocal athletics, incomparable. You listen to him because you expect to be awed by his talent. You listen to Morissette because you want to enjoy music and her performance.

i think Morissette should followed the tempo of Barbra Striesand's Home being sang in a slpwer fashion. i think she sang this song in the usual style when she is perfoming in stage play while Ms. Barbra deiiver it in 100% in musical style. Words doesnt have to be accentuated too much in this type of song. But i know I can equally enjoy her song Home with a little adjustment. I am not a voice teacher but i am a true music lover icMorissette can equal
