Would love to to hear your take on how their vocal techniques might change depending on the style of the songs they sing as they often switch genres with their songs. This was really interesting! I just thought it was about opening your mouth and keeping the sound up frount; I didn't think about the actual jaw! I'm interested to hear more of what you have to say about placing strain on the voice, in terms of using mixed voiced, vs chest, vs falsetto, and how to tell if someone is straining. Really spectacular live performances from them vocally and stage-wise are El Dorado, and The Eve/Forever medley at ElyXiOn.

these were good points. baekhyun (9:38) would probably tell you that moment in lady luck wasn't his finest as he generally doesn't do that. but obviously it's 90mins into a 3.5hr concert and with all the dancing they get tired and have to push through sometimes. interestingly, in 2017 suho (9:31) did a couple of musicals and that has changed the way he sings. his singing is now much more open and relaxed, which has helped him so much in terms of pitch control. i think one of the best things about them as a group is that they have been at the top for so long, but will still consistently work on technique and try new things. even from watching this performance from 3 years ago again, i can easily see that they have improved exponentially despite the fact that this is still really good.
