You're so on point with the fact that they compliment each other! I think that's one of the things that make Mamamoo special, they are able to blend and compliment each other but also are individually very different artists, which you can see in their solo stuff. People in the industry and fans see them as four soloist coming together almost, but without outshining each other.

mamaoo known for vocals, many reactors think that they've added lot effects to their voices.. youll see that their live and studio voices are same if not better

I agree that Mamamoo are known for their vocals--they're amazing in Kpop (I can't stop listening to them, not even for a day), especially in their live performances. But for this particular video, it's quite evident there are effects distorting their voices (mostly Hwasa; this is easiest to hear when she's in her head voice during Wind Flower--her usual jazzy rasp became a smooth metallic), even if only slightly. I don't know who decided to add these effects, because Mamamoo definitely wouldn't need them, but they're there. (maybe it's because the producer heard Hwasa was sick & thought to add them? or maybe the producer had wanted to make the performance sound like an entire finished track itself; I wouldn't know) Honestly, I find it annoying when immature stans insist, like "Karen's," that nothing is on top of their vocals for Killing Voice despite several more knowledgable people pointing out something quite obvious. (don't we want Moomoos to be honest and admit "faults"--effects could very well be just a stylistic choice in this case; don't be insulted by and deny the mere mention of it because effects don't make Mamamoo any less than they are--of any idol?) Perhaps use better headphones or listen more carefully? No dispute toward Mamamoo's live vocals--because of course those are great--but there are most definitely effects on top of this particular performance.

@@hiddensheepy8736 Thank you for the explanation! I've seen so many people denying that Mamamoo (mostly producers or music editors) uses effects. There is nothing wrong for them to use them. Distortions, auto tune or any effects on their voices/mics isn't bad at all. I feel like there is unnecessary a bad stigma with auto tune and just the idea of effects on vocals. They aren't bad most of the time. They help with amplifying their voices and sometimes help someone who is having a bad day or sick day like Hwasa in here. I've listened to this dingo video multiple times that I could tell there is indeed some effects in their mic. But that doesn't mean they're bad vocalists. At the end of the day, with or without, Mamamoo still slaying it with their voices. I just feel like people need to stop denying that they uses effects to justify their talent.

They're my TOP ULTIMATE BIAS FEMALE GROUP. I just freaking love them. Their live performances are just amazing. They've every genre of song. For me, their songs are just masterpieces. Whatever song chooses you will like. Also, their nickname is BeLisMaMoo /Believe and listen to Mamamoo/. A journey with them could never be boring.

Their names are HWASA = (lady in the crop top) she is the SXHI 👑 OF SMOOTH CROONING, and second rapper. Next her is WHEEIN = (lady in the blazer) she is KEEPER OF AIR, SOFT MELODIES. Next to her SOLAR = (lady in the sleeveless dress) is leader of the group and lead vocalist (Heavy belter). And last is MoonByul she is lead rapper and vocalist as well to. Hwasa was a little sick while they were filming clip. And was recovering from the shock of losing her grandmother as well to. Thank you for your review, and making it basic for us to understand. You and a couple of other reviewers made it simpler to understand, while other reviewers used to much musical lingo for us to understand what is happening and how the girls voice or notes would change.

I enjoyed your reaction. I love mamamoo they are the best singing group. Since Solar is my bias I follow her a more than the others. She is the one with the fry you mentioned, or second from left with the long ponytail. She has an acapella video of AYA, the last song on this video and she has one of her covering a lady gaga song, also acapella. They are on her youtube channel solarsido, if you want to see one of them doing acapella at least. All of them have solo songs as well.
