Jeff Adams - Wow! That's great Jeff!!! You'll LOVE all the stuff. Just don't judge the L&L Champs scent right out of the tub. You need to build a lather then apply it to your face to allow the entire bouquet of scent complexity to open completely to really appreciate it. 😁

You talk and talk about tallow shave soap but that white bar is bath soap, which I just shaved with! I noticed it didn't lather as well as expected, but I actually got a decent shave. My bad for not being more careful.

Yes, it is a bath soap but you can shave with it. In fact, it is similar to the J&J shave soap formula.

I love your straight razor videos. I have learned so much by watching them, and am now fully converted to shaving with straight razors, along with sharpening and maintaining them. Could you tell me which Fili it is that you really like? I'd like to try and find one like it. I have acquired a few blades so far, but am still looking for something better. I've been eyeing some nice Dorko blades also, of which I would love to have your opinion.

evo - My favorite is the Fili 14 and the older ones. You can tell because the back side of the shank is blank. It DOES NOT say Made In Spain. I like my Dorko also. I have a big one and my smaller wedge style or #43. Both great.

ordered some of the J&J soap and lotion. will let ya know what I think. tell your wife she is beautiful...best part of show.. need to know where ya got the soap/ the lather...went to the L&L site and its not there??..great videofound it its " Limited Edition " on their website

Barkley Burker - Thanks Griz. My wife loved your comment. I just looked at the L&L site and the Champs is still there. It is a limited edition. I think you might like the Catalans Prarie even better. You can also check Maggards as they have a bunch of the L&L products.

so the bar soap works as a pre shave lotion? never used pre shave stuff and ive only used the shaving creme in a can so sorry if its a stupid question

The soap is not a pre-shave. Just regular soap you shower with. The balm or lotion in the tin is a post shave tho.

@@rockmang3920 - I guess you could use it for that but I'm not fond of using oil on your skin before a shave. Causes the razor to drag like driving around with your parking brake on. That's massage oil she put in there with my shave products.

Matt you did a video on the "FINE" products, anyway I ordered the Italian citrus the soap was great, but the post shave was absolutely fantastic!!! If you haven't already tried it, you must!!😎

TT DE NADA ABBA - I’ve done a few videos using their soap. You’re correct, fantastic stuff.! I always say it’s the most under rated soap out there. It’s made by the same place that makes Tabac soap which has a legendary reputation for its performance. Thanks for tuning in. 😁

Tal Nadav - The artisan shave market is not only very competitive but the quality of their products, especially the L&L soaps, is ridiculous. Had I requested a shave soap from her, it would have been a set-up for imminent failure. In fact, I was very explicit to NOT refer to this soap as a "shave" soap anywhere in the literature because I know some in the community would crucify me.
