Thank you for explaining each function of the pedal with such a beautiful clean tone. It helped me understand how the pedal behaves!

Thanks so much! Strands is so freaking cool. I had to cut down the footage from an hour because I was getting so lost in it. Especially the stretch modes. endlessly possibilities!

@@modulated_ Thanks! Yeah, I've really been favoring it lately. The frets are a lot bigger than my yamaha revstar so it makes my approach to play a lot more slowed down jams.

Great demo! This pedal looks awesome and it's made in my tiny country of Belgium 😮. One question though, how do you set the delay time? Is it through the fidelity knob?
@pedalgaze
@pedalgaze 28 күн бұрын
Thanks so much! So cool you're in the same country! Yes it's the fidelity knob which I believe controls the sample rate of the patch. All the way down the buffer size will be bigger resulting in longer samples but the audio quality will be lower resulting in noise. all the way up it'll be pristine audio but short buffer size. The length will also control the size of the samples and it behaves a little different in each mode. the fidelity is like a master knob that controls everything. hope this explanation helps!

@@pedalgaze It does! Sounds like it's like the 'clock' control on the MOOD. How would you compare the Strands to other granular delays you've tried? I'm thinking Mood, Particle, Microcosm, Baklengs/Etterslep, ...
@pedalgaze

@@ArgonautsMusicalTravellings I've tried everything minus the baklengs/etterslep. Mood is amazing with the routing/ features you get, plus the old blood side to add to the mix. It's fun in a live setting. I like using it as a weird freeze effect for the right parts. The strands is basically the drolo side of mood plus more algorithm variations and way more control.It's cool if you want to tweak more. The particle is another beast. The v2 has presets and an insane amount of customizability via the web editor. The microcosm is great as well, with presets and very cool algorithms, although probably the least tweakable concerning hearing the direct result of what you are doing. I would twist knobs and not sure what they did. For me that didn't really matter. It felt like a surprise box like the pedal was playing me lol which is cool depending on what you are working on. hope this helps. Best of luck on your search. All are great choices!

FS!!! 🤬 why did I click on this video. I don’t need another pedal! I’ve got food to buy, bills to pay but here I am off to sign up to drolos mailing list to make sure I don’t miss the next drop! I hope you’re happy people will starve because of this video! Awesome video though 👏

haha! but this next pedal solves all your problems, guaranteed! 😎😎 here I am making videos cause I can't stop turning knobs! cheers, thanks for watching and the kind words! Its a sick pedal that expands on the drolo side of the mood in the best way worth some belly rumbles.😉😉 ha.
