Extremely cool! Would love to see if/how it'd handle obstacle avoidance

Could this be applied to a drone using tracking in real life?
@nak_attak3 жыл бұрын
Perhaps, but with a lot of modification and a LOT of time and resources to got through all the generations. This is only because it then has to think about the 3rd dimension, making it have to learn a lot more.
@joshuacarlson45583 жыл бұрын
Why not? If the computer simulation is correct enough in representing the physics of the actual drone/engines/gravity/ etc, I imagine you could train in the sim and set loose on the real thing.
@nak_attak3 жыл бұрын
@@joshuacarlson4558 Dont forgot there are 3 dimensions in real life, and you would also need extensive funding for the thousands of failed drones that crashed
@joshuacarlson45583 жыл бұрын
@@nak_attak Why use real drones to train?! That's what the sim is for! Meh, 2d/2d, same concept, just another axis.

@@nak_attak real life robotics isn't about throwing away thousands of tons of scrap failed attempts. We use simulations to train the controllers and then upload the controllers into our robots.

@hahayes72053 жыл бұрын
Unity comes with physics and a bunch of other stuff, c++ is faster than c# but you're gonna have to code everything from physics to graphics yourself

@@hahayes7205 You can also use libraries for physics like Box2D and use OpenGL or SFML for graphics
