Hello and welcome to my KZbin channel. In today's video we will be playing Expeditions A MudRunner Game. This is more of a tips and tricks type of video a guide tutorial walk through how to type of video. The game will have some other cool features like drones retractable bridges. Jack screws which flip your vehicle back over. So it has 19 vehicles if you have supreme edition. 15 if you got year 1 edition and 14 if you have the base game. 11 of which i think are from snowrunner. It has 205 upgrades.

Some corrections or other tips that may be useful. so the advanced parking makes it so when you recover the price is cut in half so the don normally costs 1,000 it would be 500. the tatra force normally costs 5,000 it would cost 2,500 so that could quickly pay for itself. the prepayment thing only works once so i guess it can help in a pinch but wont work over and over.

The other drone operator, Lance, deserves some love as well. I didn't much pay attention to him because he "only" adds 50 m to your drone range, but then I saw the "can trade" bit and started wondering... Yes, it means exactly what I thought. With him, you can simply fly the drone to an airdrop and pick up the goodies for your truck, no need to drive there anymore, you just have to be within drone range.

Very nice does it also work with like a turned over vehicle or something can you drop off a jack screw or something. I didn’t even think about air drops I was thinking vehicle to vehicle but that’s awesome about the drone one.

@@G4mingWithJJ Yes, if you have it in a warehouse or an airdrop where the "Trade" prompt would pop up if you drove into it, it'll work.

ohhh okay so it doesnt work vehicle to vehicle but works to any area with a trade option like warehouses or air drop

Another helpful tip that I found if you're flipping over and don't have autonomous winch. As you are about to flip over, hit your quick winch button to winch to whatever you can nearby. DO NOT RETRACT THE WINCH. Now you are flipped over with your winch hooked up to whatever the game chose. Go to the circle menu and select your winch. Pick an advantageous position on your truck, then pick the best tree or nearby object to winch to. Start winching until you are flipped back over! If you retract your winch at any point, you're screwed. By the game still lets you run the winch if your flipped as long as it has been deployed before your engine shut off from flipping. You can even reposition it after which is really useful. Hope this helps people as much as it has helped me. Thanks for the video!

I haven’t tried that but that’s very interesting so if you attach before it shuts off you are able to re attach for some reason. So it just worked while the truck is off for some reason? Thanks for the tip I will certainly have to try that one.

@G4mingWithJJ yep, attach before it shuts off and it let's you reattach through the circle wheel menu by selecting the winch icon at the top. Even after your engine has shut off.

Damn that game needs a little bit more tutorials because some of these tips are very important! I bought the drone module once and never found a use for it so I sold it lol. Thank you for those tips, very helpful!

Fantastic tips you have given. I still haven’t got back on expedition yet. Leveling up Dino’s on ark ascended to do a titanosaur with all my tames just to see if they can take it down lol.

The drone one makes more sense now = did not know that, so effectively the drone does fly to you ~ a fantastic gaming opportunity missed IMO.

Yeah the drone will fly to you and drop off some stuff it looks like jack screws and anchors are not one of them but still amazingly helpful.

I expected the drone to have some special animations. It's kinda freakin big deal to send you fuel/parts to the middle of nowhere. I hope they add something to mark its significance

Yeah I agree it’s a huge deal. It’s a game changer being able to drop off up to 300 liters of fuel or some other supplies anywhere on the map. That means you don’t need to buy fuel or some of the other stuff at the start so you can maybe come back more often with stuff to sell I hope they add an animation for it to cuz it really is a huge deal.

How do you unlock the Cargo Drone module? I don't the option at the build module sites...

This is a copy paste reply from someone else who asked the same question. Great question so the game has 2 missions for it one in Arizona and 1 in carpathians the Arizona one is called an unexpected find. To do that one you have to do breaking bad and to do that one you have to skin order to preserve and to do that one you have to do fallen from heaven and to do that one you have to do squatters rights and to do that one you have to do conquest of the frontier. And then for the carpathians side you have to do one called where the flow goes to do that one you need to do the balance of nature to do that one you have to do water is life to do that one you need to do ancient fire to do that one you need to do stone faced to do that one you need to do prologue. Sorry if that’s confusing but basically gotta do like 5 or missions in each region to unlock cargo drone I am unsure if you need to unlock drones in both areas to have them or if you just need to unlock it in 1 area and it works in both regions. But I think you just need to do one because they also have the specialists who unlock on both regions so I think it allows you play either region first to get them to unlock let me know if you need more help.

Yeah they have a way to unlock the cargo drone on both regions they are different but it gives the game a bit of flexibility so you can jump right into carpathians or stick to Arizona and you will get the modules and stuff about the same time so you are not forced to play it one way or ther other for some equipment some of it you still do have to be in certain regions for.

The reason you couldn't deploy 13:17 is because under requirements you could only use two trucks.

8:05 a tank as huge as this should contain at least 1000 liters. Snowrunner's 900L tanker looked smaller.

JJ, Go another question for you period on the heavy load expedition. Why is everybody leaving from the map without the gateway on it? Wouldn't it be some to leave for the map? That has the gateway on it instead of traveling all the way across one map to go to the other map to go to a third map. No one is running out of gas.

Yeah if that’s the expedition. I am thinking of the game makes you leave from Grand Canyon drive all the way across it then into coconino and then all the way across that to the next map. Maybe it changed post update but I watched someone play it yesterday on pc and it made them drive all the way across Grand Canyon and coconino. It should start you in coconino then just drive to the next map. But hopefully that answers your question. Let me know if you need more help.

Yeah sorry for late reply I’ve been gone all weekend but yes I said as a joke they had an intern make that mission I’m pretty sure it was an error as well. No real good reason to have you drive all the way across 2 maps to do a mission on the 3rd one when you could just cross one and do a mission

yeah it does the same on snowrunner a little trick for more money lol. doesnt matter in normal mode since its infite from contests anyways but can help in hard mode if people choose. i dont use it on my hard mode but you could.

They stay on the map until you sell them. So if you never sell them they are always there.

Did you see what I meant about drone dropping fuel though that thing is crazy OP too. It does cost 50k so it will take some work to get to the point to have a bunch like 1 for each map. But that thing is going to be crazy helpful like the other day when u had to run back to camp for whatever that thing was you didn’t come prepared with. Do you think I missed any good tips? I know I could have included so much more but tried to get stuff people may not know. For the most part

yeah i read that and found it a bit odd. i think it means you can trade with the drone like vehicles can with each other. so if vehicles are close you can trade supplies. so with the drone u might be able to drop off a jack screw to yourself or something. probably need the girl with extra range to make it really worth it if you have a fall off a cliff or flip over or something.

I don't think abusing the prepayment will work. I heard you can only get that sum once. After a restart you can't claim it again.

JJ, I got a question about this Cargo Drone. Does this work on any map on the specific region, or on each map? For example, in Arizona, you set it in the Grand Canyon map, can I use it in the Coconion map.

I understand your question and it only works for whatever map you are on. So if you do put one in Grand Canyon it works in Grand Canyon you need another cargo drone in another map. You can sell them and get back 90 percent of the total cost so if you pay 50,000 for it you can complete all the things on the map and then sell it back for 45,000and then you could purchase it on the next map you go to. You would lose that 5,000 each time but you can only deploy on 1 map at a time anyways so it might be worth it.

I am not sure I’d have to look it might be behind a task contract or even expedition. I’m missing like 150 upgrades yet lol so I got lots of upgrade hunting to do. Both in terms of on map and then task contract and expedition wise. I’m not entirely sure but I plan to get the hat upgrades soon I love that vehicle on this game so I can get back to you soon. Why is my interactive map so slow? Is there any tips to speed it up? SnowRender i9-13900k - rtx 3070 - 32 GB memory I cant even load the other interactive map.

I think it’s just very intensive. Idk if it’s you or both you and cpu I probably should have mentioned sometimes little things slip through the cracks. Sorry about that hopefully those maps get updated soon. But from your specs it seems like you have a pretty solid set up. I have a ryzen 9 5950x 16 core cpu eggs RTX 3090 ftw3. And 64 gb of gddr4 corsair vengeance ram. Maybe you had to much other stuff open or something?
