One top trick is to unlok the cargo drone ASAP! With it you can go to map, modules, cargo drone and then it will pop-up your base exchange menu with all modules available (fuel and parts form the base and essential storage, items from and to inventory, special items from shop like hydro-drill-beacons and whatnots. This makes a whole gameplay change. It gives you the ability to take fuel, parts, quest items, anchors, screws anywhere on map at any time. Also it gives you the posibility to transfer all your stuff to base. An example: mission: - get here, bring item X near a base. Having cargo drones and warehouses at each camp you can get there, get X item. Call cargo drone, transfer item to warehouse. Have another truck at that base to bring the item from warehouse to the final location near base. It saves a lot on the return trip. Even better i go full roster of trucks. Deploy at every base. drive across all map doing tasks and contracts (discoverin I need a specific quest item.. cargo drone call and i get it then and there). then one truck is an remote area where an item needs to reach. I switch to another truck closer to where the item is obtained. Cargo drone to base warehouse. Switch to truck at delivery point and call cargo dron to get that item from warehouse. This saves A LOT of trips and time.

i want to do the contract through the lens but it would not activate do u know why?

Found out eventually that each contract may have a requirement of some specialist. Unfortunately it does not state which one. So whenever i'm on an expedition i go full roster of specialist and look at what available contracts i can track. Those must use a specialist i already have. If i can't track it, i return to hq and bring another 3 specialist of other type hopefully hitting the one i need. The most popular required specialist ar operatoror, jaeger, hydrologist and logistian. Mechanic and manager are rarely required

It's a grind game, great game but not for casual players, you can easily spend an hour getting to a place and run out of gas, tip over, or don't have the right equipment . It is a great game but that time , no fifteen minute gameplay here.

They wanted a snowrunner dlc but got a mudrunner game doing it a bit different, more exploring less hauling and more often rock crawling than mudding so they started hating
